Works GREAT!
We have a house that is mostly hard wood floors. In addition, we have tile in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as a bunch of area rugs of various thicknesses. We also have a small dog that SHEDS a LOT. I have no idea how this dog has any fur on her body! I vacuum multiple times a day trying to keep up, so we decided to give this robot vac/mop a try. I’m really glad we did!Set up was super simple. The app is really easy to use and is very straight forward. It mapped the house and we had to make a few adjustments to keep it away from things like guitar stands and cords that can’t be moved very easily. We have it set up to vacuum and then mop. To complete the entire first floor (which is where we have it set up) it took it approximately 8 hours. The area it is vacuuming and mopping is about 1,490 sq ft.It had no problem with the area rugs. One of the pictures is to show it getting up on one of our thicker area rugs. It knows to only vacuum the area rugs, and it lifts the mop pads when it is on the area rugs.The tower is pretty tall, but it has clean water, dirty water, and vacuum debris. It cleans and dries the mop heads relatively frequently which is great so it isn’t spreading dirt just cleaning it. When it is getting low on power, it goes back to the base station. It empties, cleans, and dries as necessary. When it is done recharging, it goes right back to where it left off and continues cleaning.The first time we set it off to vac and then mop was the day after I had steam cleaned the floors. Although it wasn’t necessary, we decided to empty the dirty water tank and I was shocked to see how much dirt it got off my floors! The water was a murky brown even though I had just steam mopped the floors the day before. This thing REALLY CLEANS!!!!I am also impressed at how quiet this is. It is a lot quieter than my other robot vac/mop which is upstairs. The first time we had it clean, we set it off during the day. I was able to watch TV without having to turn the volume up which I can’t do with my other one. You know it is running, but it’s still a lot quieter. Now we have it set up to clean while we sleep which means I wake up to clean floors. How cool is that?!So far, it has not gotten hung up or stuck at all which is also a huge change from our old robot vac/mop which gets stuck constantly. I don’t even have to pick up my dining room chairs because it is able to maneuver through and around them. It also doesn’t bang into them. My old one actually damaged the legs of my my dining room chairs, but this one is gentle!There really isn’t anything I don’t like about this robot vac/mop. I am very please with it, and I highly recommend it!

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I’M SCREAM TEXTING IT!
This is my first robot vacuum, but not my first Dreame product. I also have an upright vac mop that I also love, and both have their place in my home.I recently removed all of my carpets and put in LVP throughout, and have had a hard time creating a schedule for myself to sweep, and mop all of the rooms in my house. This right away fixed that problem, and it does both rugs and hard floors so it was a no brainer idea. My youngest is 6 years old and he LOVES watching this thing clean, and he knows that the rooms need to be picked up in order for it to do its best, so it motivates him to help pick up and keep our main rooms a lot more tidy as a result.The app is really great. It maps the floor (if doors are open and it can get inside) and even knows carpet/rugs from hard floors. You can create individual rooms, exclude rooms/doorways (we don’t have it go into bedrooms or bathrooms at all, and you can put up virtual barriers so you don’t have to keep doors closed), can choose whether it mops, vacs, or both and how wet/dry the mop pads are and how strong of a vacuum suction to use per room.The routine will run and show (and store) the paths the machine took to clean the space.It does a great job cleaning too. I was really impressed with this. Even cleaning heavy traffic areas daily, there is a remarkable difference in how it looks after.I know this item already has a sale price making it $300 cheaper than the regular price, but even at full price, I would buy this again. It’s such a nearly hands off item that really made our life so much better I can’t imagine not having one now, and I’ve only had this for a few weeks, and haven’t even fully explored it all, including setting it up with my Alexa devices. I love this and wonder what took me so long to get one.

Well made and very powerful robot vacuum and mop with many auto features
This Dreame L40s Ultra robot vacuum and mop with many auto features could be intimidating to mess with, but after reading the instructions and following some videos I found it pretty easy and intuitive to set up.I love that it has an app that can help you map your rooms so the machine knows exactly where to go and where not to go so it doesn’t get stuck.The unit can clean carpets as well as hardwood floors if that’s what you need and want to set up.When it needs to empty, change or clean solutions it can do so automatically as long as you have everything set up in the base itself.It will take some practice to make sure the unit is working to its optimal level, but I think that’s the fun part for me.The unit was very expensive when I ordered it at $900, but I see now with included coupons it’s around $600 which is a much better value. The price should have been the same for everyone including a Vine reviewer like myself.So far we really like it and hope it continues to work well for years to come.
