I can FaceTime my cat ðº (rip Sammie, May 22, 2024 â¤ï¸)
So I’m away at school, and I’ve always missed my 17 year old cat whenever I’m gone cuz we’re best of buddies. I ended up getting this in my last year and it’s so nice to just pop in and see her 🙂 I can also talk to her and my family thru it and she can see me too!The app works pretty well, the only thing I’ve noticed on my android is that if you don’t exit out of the app and like have it stop working in the background, it will cause you to not be able to hear audio in other apps. I was so confused as to why that was happening but I figured it out. This is probably something they can/will fix.I also love how I can see in the dark, seeing her glowing orbs is very nice. Overall it does exactly what I want and I’m very happy with it.The first photo is what it looks like, it’s currently on one of those portable computer stands. The one picture in daylight of her on the couch is when I said hello!Edit: As of May 22, 2024, Sammie is no longer with us. I’m so happy that I got something like this so I could see her more often and talk to her when I was away at school. She stayed for 10 days after I graduated and came home. Thankful for the memories and pictures this captured. :)Rest in peace Sammie, we love you <3

This product is an unbelievable value for the money! I live in a very remote area and was concerned that the connectivity would be glitchy or the picture quality would be low. But wow! I was so surprised! It’s easy to hook up it stays hooked up the picture and video quality is absolutely amazing, even the night mode pictures are clear. There are so many options in the menu you really get to set it up exactly the way you want from when or how it’s turned on and off to the type of recording it does even who gets notified should movement be detected if you set it up that way. Finally a product where the value outweighs the price

Great quality picture. Very surprised at the quality over all. I call my pets while I’m out or I just view the camera. It has motion detection so it let’s me know if my pets are moving around. I should have got 2 the first time I ordered. Definitely getting a few more. Highly recommended. It’s a good indoor camera to keep track of your pets or just in general

Sound out of the speaker camera was almost inaudible even with the volume set at 100%
The video was excellent, we could hear the sound on our phone but the person next to the camera could not hear what I was saying. The volume was at 100% on the device and still we had to put our ear next to the speaker to hear what was said. Of course a cat or dog will hear it since they have better senses than humans but that is not the point. We use the latest model of Samsung phones and I wonder if this device is not prepared for Android as another buyer stated in his review.

Itâs fun!
Itâs fun to have in the house. I used this for my trip overseas recently and wanted to be in touch with my parrot! She was so excited to see me Andy, the same for me. The power supply should be braided because she chewed it and now it has no power. I have to get another cord. Other than that no complaint so far.

Good but a couple of things need improvement
The video quality is quite good once itâs set up. The app works fairly well but the initial set up is quirky. I got an error message in Chinese. Had to use a different email address to get it fixed as I couldnât figure out what I did wrong it reset this problem. My biggest complaint is the audio is horrible. It speaker and microphone sound like something from a 40âs war movie. Not really useful when trying to talk to a 86 year old who is hard of hearing and some cognitive issues. If you want to watch and monitor its fine, if you want to have a conversation not worth a cr@p.

Very pleased with this camera. We purchased it so we can connect and check up on my Dad who lives on his own and has been diagnosed with dementia. He often turns his mobile phone off in error so this is a great way to get hold of him and get him to turn phone on again. He also unfortunately keeps calling out the Paramedics so this is also a good way to chat to them whilst they check him over. Set up has been so easy, picture clarity is amazing. Events are stored on an SD Card, however you can have Cloud Storage if you choose to. Playback of event video’s on the App is so easy. Also great quality night vision. We had tried a different make of camera but the sound quality was awful (might have been a faulty unit) – my only suggestion to add to this one would be a siren to get the persons attention (the other camera we bought had a Siren and Lights which you could activate on the app, but this one doesn’t). It is such great value for money considering the price point and gives us tremendous peace of mind.
