Love the way the pins look.
I installed thes pins on a 2006 acura rsx for my carbin hood. They work really good. I’ve had them on for a week and everything still looks good. Strong and holds down the hood really good. Great price as well. Just needs to make the bolts a little longer but still overall really good.

Fitment, Looks and Durability
After drilling holes in my hood, I decided that putting the rods in wouldn’t work out. So I had to do some modifications to the hood pins in order to make them work.

Worth it
For what itâs worth it was ok. High quality wire pins bolt and nuts. Screws were cheap tho. And btw everything on it rusts so DONT GET IT WET. even after drying with compressed air it still rusted.

Easy to install, but pins are rusting – not stainless
These pins were easy to install. My Subaru Outback had obvious holes on the underside of the hood which happened to align with brackets in the engine compartment. Apparently, the car’s designers had the possible use of such pins in mind. I got the pins because the original hood latch rusted out and replacement was going to cost over $300.However, after just a few weeks of snow and road salt, these pins are showing signs of rust. They are clearly not stainless steel. The small screws to hole the rings are stainless, but the pins and clips are not.
