No. All core features like scheduled feeding, live video, two-way audio, and manual feeding are completely free. Cloud storage is optional and includes a 30-day free trial.

What dry food size and portion does this automatic pet feeder support?

It is designed to work with dry kibble <15mm. Up to 10 meals/day. Each meal dispensing 1-15 portions. Each portion is appro. 8-10 grams (roughly 1/15 to 1/12 of a cup). NOTE: exact weight can vary depending on the size, type, and density of the food.

Will this automatic cat feeder still work during a power outage?

Yes! It supports both outlet power and battery backup (batteries not included). It will automatically switch to battery power to ensure pet is fed on time when power outage. NOTE: Only scheduled feedings will continue while on battery power.

Can I manually feed my pet without using the auto pet feeder with camera app?

Yes! There are 2 ways to manually feed: press the button on the pet feeder or use the one-touch feed in the app. The app is needed for scheduling & watching the video, but you can always use the physical button to feed manually, even without the app.
