Great but only for a few months
Iâve purchased a few times from this brand to decorate my living space with beautiful ambient lighting but unfortunately the most recent sets I ordered both stopped working after about 6-7 months of use. Ive tried replacing the batteries in the remote and switching the adapters but they flicker, occasionally turn on one random color like red or white and then they die again. They dont respond to any remote function. I reached out via email but got no response. Hoping to get a replacement before having to order from a different brand next

Stopped working after 8 months – REVISED
This was my original submission – The lights installed just fine and worked perfectly for about 7-8 months and then just went dead. I checked all the connections and when I unplugged and replugged in the power converter they came on for a minute or two but then went out again. I changed the battery in the controller, but that didn’t work either.Pretty disappointing.But…it turns out that I had a bad GFCI outlet that caused the problem. Once the outlet was replaced the lights worked fine. Daybetter, to their credit, has great customer service and sent me a replacement at no charge (which I will now offer to pay for.) Hope this clears things up.

Nice LED set for a classroom
I purchased several of these sets to go around a large whiteboard in my classroom. They are 8 feet long, so it took 4 to cover my large board. They do connect, so you only have one place to plug in. There is no “cord” to plug in, so you have to have a usb block or computer with usb very close to plug into. The colors are very bright and can be changed. I use the solid colors for noise levels in my classroom, but I can also make them alternate. My only complaint is that the remote doesn’t work well. I have to press really hard and aim at one certain spot to make it work. Since I bought several sets, I tried other remotes and had the same issue with all of them. Overall, I like the lights and will use them even with the remote issue.

Whacky- TV remote messed it up
So I did a staircase with the light set. Worked great at first. TV is near the staircase and the remote for the TV would affect the lights and change the color. Blocked off the sensor but the lights then would not change color. So ordered another one. Put that along the staircase and it was fine but it’s very delicate and touched it with the piece of furniture and then the lights would no longer change color or respond to the remote color changer. Okay. So ordered a third set but the third set does not respond at all. Only one strand is blinking and one strand would not come on at all. Using a voltage sensor it showed that power was going through both strips but neither remote since we had the old one, would turn on the light strips and make the color respond. Just one strip blinking. If you get it unravel it and plug it in right away to make sure the whole unit operates. Unfortunately I had it sitting in the box and it is just past the return date because putting it up through a stairwell is kind of a pain so I put it off. On the upside it comes in two rolls so there was 25 ft going into directions which worked perfect to go up each side of a set of stairs and light it up very well. Now have to get something else. It’s supposed to have a warranty so… Will find out about that.

I purchased the 32 x 8â LED lights. The lights come in two spools. It was very easy to apply to my wall. I like it so much that I ordered a second box. The LED lights come in a lot of different colors.

Not Durable â Disappointing Quality
This is not a durable product. After about 2 months, mine started failing the blue LED stopped working, so now Iâm stuck with only red and green.Since red, green, and blue are all needed to create the full range of colors, losing blue means youâre limited to red, green, and muddy mixes like yellow and orange. You canât get colors like blue, cyan, magenta, purple, pink, or white basically anything cool-toned or vibrant. The color range becomes dull and restricted.On top of that, the adhesive is weak. before applying, I cleaned and dry the wall and even so, it started peeling within hours.While itâs not the most expensive product, itâs not good value either, the quality just isnât there. I canât recommend this, even for casual use. Spend a little more and get something that lasts from other brands.

Bang for the buck
5 Stars because you get exactly what you pay for. The price was rather affordable, it lasted me about 2-3 years (probably more if I didn’t have to move out of my room at the time), connectivity was easy to figure out, adhesive was rather durable and didn’t peel off throughout the years, and all the colors were vibrant and bright, you can even dim it if you like.

Stopped working
I was really excited when I first got these LED strip lights. They were vibrant and very easy to install. The remote worked perfectly and being able to switch between colors and adjust the brightness easily added a great vibe to my room.Unfortunately, after about a month of use, the power supply stopped working properly. The lights wouldn’t turn on fully, leaving only a few dimly lit bulbs that stayed on unless completely unplugged. It was disappointing since they worked so well at first, I was hoping for better durability.If the power supply were more reliable these would be perfect…but until then, I can’t fully recommend them.
