Excellent video quality and compact design
I have been using the REDTIGER F4 Pro 4K Dash Cam on two cars for a while, and itâs an impressive upgrade, deserving a 5-star rating. The 4K front and 1080P rear cameras deliver crisp, clear footage day and night, with the STARVIS 2 sensor performing great in low light. The 5.8GHz WiFi6 makes transferring videos to my phone fast and smooth.Installation was straightforward but took me a while to get it done, and the compact design doesnât obstruct the view. The touchscreen is responsive, and the voice control is surprisingly handy for hands-free operation.If I had to note one minor drawback, the field of view could be slightly wider, but overall, the video quality and reliability make this dash cam an excellent value for its price. RedTiger Delivers a Really Good Dashcam At A Reasonable Price
REDTIGER F4 Pro 4K Dash Cam Front and Rear fits our checklist and value for the money. Shout out to the excellent customer service rep Emma who reached out to make sure that I had all the accessories needed for a successful installation. As a result, RedTiger sent a 24/7 wire kit that enables the dashcam to keep recording when the engine turns off and has low-voltage protection to not run the car battery dry. So far the performance of the F4 Pro meets and exceeds my expectation for an affordable dashcam. The 4K front & 1080p rear videos provide clear recording during the day and reasonably good at night with proper lighting. The installation kit came with a tool to help to tuck the cable into car ceiling liner. There was plenty of cable length left for a full-sized car cabin. The touchscreen has quite a few camera functionalities that it would be nice if all the controls can be on the phone app as well. There are a few essential physical buttons that are also on the app. The unit can run warm at times but not as high as some other dashcams. The app can view and replay the video and lag times are reasonable. The offline PC app is helpful in reviewing the videos and can be set to show simultaneous front & rear footages. It’s great and convenient that RedTiger already included a 128GB card that I did not have to buy separate card. I have other more pricier dashcams on my other vehicles. Thus far, I am impress with this RedTiger product as it offers many features and performance similar to other more expensive brands.

Great Clarity, Easy App Accessâand Unexpectedly Improving My Road Rage
I picked up the RedTiger Pro 4K Dash Cam because, letâs face it, people are driving like itâs a demolition derby out there. I spend a lot of time on the road, and this little device has already saved us twice by capturing exactly what happenedâcrystal clear footage, easy to review, and a breeze to pull straight from the app on my phone.The front and rear coverage is excellent, the image quality is sharp even in low light, and the setup was straightforward. I liked it so much I grabbed two more during Prime Days.Bonus? I find myself using fewer expletives while driving⦠just in case I ever have to share a clip with the authorities. So really, itâs keeping my driving record and my vocabulary cleaner. Win-win.

I really like this dash cam. It’s easy to use, yet very flexible. I love the way it mounts, both the forward and rear facing cameras. The cables are plenty long. The biggest win is that the rear facing camera mounts inside the vehicle, so running the cable is SO much easier. The video quality from both cameras meets my expectations for a good dashcam. I like everything about this camera, except for 1 thing, which is the reason for the missing star on my review. You can buy the forward facing and rear facing cameras separately, for a much better price. Why charge so much more for putting them in the same box? Outside of that, this is a really great camera, my second from Red Tiger. They make good stuff.

Size of the unit was the main reason for buying, #2 – voice comands. #3- Using with my phone.
The front camera is not as wide of an angle as I would have liked, That’s the only drawback I have seen so far. I installed this unit in a very very small 2 seater car. It is well hidden. To do the 24hour recording, I’d suggest using a power bank with a 12v plug. Rather than “hardwiring”, but that’s me….. The app works well and the unit can send the rear camera picture to the phone in real time for backing up. If needed.

Everyone needs to have a dashcam in their vehicle, this one is a good option based on my three week test.My test included replacing my old dashcam with this new one by REDTIER and making sure that it was hardwired, not connected to my cigarette lighter. This is the best configuration and allows you to take full advantage of the dashcam.Summary: I found that the quality of this dashcam is very good right from the main control unit to the backup camera and the quality of pictures from both. The feature set is very good and the WIFI connection makes getting your videos off the dashcam very easy and fast. Overall, I’m good to recommend this unit and find it performs very well for the price.Now let’s get in to the details…1) Picture quality: The 4K front camera is very good. I easily captures license plates in the day time and with medium to good lighting at night. The camera does struggle (as expected for any dashcam) with low or no extra light. The rear camera is good, I installed in inside my SUV to keep it clean in the rain and snow.2) Setup: Setup can be as easy as throwing in the Micro SD card and turning the camera on. From there you can decide if you want to install the rear facing camera and also install the app for additional configuration (recommended). You’ll find that the app is very easy to setup and that the rear facing camera is actually quite easy to install once you review a few tips on YouTube. Just search for dashcam installation for your particular year and model of vehicle.So, back to the opening – I am good to recommend this dashcam, it’s well built, performs really well, and is good value for the money.

Way more complicated then I thought in that it has voice control, touchscreen and an app etc, also comes with a rear camera which was a surprise. It’s actually wired to the cigarette lighter slot which is good but the wires I found a bit annoying. You can hide the cables but you have to hide it in the body, which generally the only way you can hide the cables for the rear mount if you want to use it.Quality of the screen and videos are both really good. I didn’t love the adhesive mounts as I thought it would be like a GPS mount where it had an option of a suction cup or base mount, but it has no cradle for that. It’s designed to be stuck up high on the windshield and to stay there pretty much.This is a serious dashcam for people that want a dashcam on all the time with major functionality and are willing to do a hard install of a dashcam. It’s not for people that just want a small mounted camera they can pull in and out of the car all the time or anything like that.

I’ve been using this dash cam for a few weeks now, and it has been working great. Right out of the box, it feels like a premium product. The build quality is solid, and it even includes a 128GB SD card, so youâre ready to go immediately, which is a huge plus, as sometimes you gotta go out and buy a card.
