I consider DeWalt tools to be the best made, and this drill underscores the very high quality of DeWalt products. Being battery powered, I can take this drill anywhere and use it easily. I have other DeWalt 20-volt tools, so having the two batteries that come in the kit is extremely important to me. Finding the drill on sale on Amazon, I got this drill, a charger and two batteries almost as cheap as buying just one replacement battery at Lowe’s or Home Depot. OUTSTANDING value! Feels and looks cheaper than expected
Itâs a DeWalt drill âsupposedlyâ but feels and looks cheap compared to what Iâm used to using DeWalt wise. My pops uses almost nothing but this brand but to be honest I think this isnât much better than the Ryobi that my son had a few years ago. It works and came with 2 batteries, a charger and carrying bag for less than 75$ so Iâm not complaining. They could have threw in a 4ah battery vs the 2 it came with but I donât need it for large jobs and the ones it came with should be fine (although if it came with 1 4ah vs the 2 it would be a better drill imho) but so is a brushless vs this one, so thereâs that. I would recommend so far and would buy it again for the price I paid.

“OLD SPARKY”–BUT IT GETS THE JOB DONE!
AMAZON can sell you a plethora of similar products, but I must admit–the DEWALT Name and Reputation cinched the deal for me. Now that it has arrives, I’m having second thoughts.This $99 DEWALT DRILL has THE RIGHT STUFF to be sure. But it leaves one wondering, “Is this a REAL DEWALT tool?” You get what you pay for, and for a DEWALT, this device is remarkably affordable. Still, I had to consider the following: This 20V power tool comes with (2) 20v batteries and a charger. As things would have it, I have no need for the batteries/charger–since these are identical to BLACK AND DECKER’S 20V power source, of which I have dozens, thanks to previous B&D purchases.Which causes one to wonder, “AM I PAYING MORE FOR THE BATTERIES/CHARGER–than I am for the basic Drill? Such ponderings’ are fueled by AMAZON’S dazzling assortment of similar drills sold for $60 or less. Decisions, Decisions! This DEWALT is built in MEXICO, and for some reason–I consider that a ‘Step-up” from Chinese merchandise. BUT WAIT!For about $60 Bucks, AMAZON sells comparable (albeit no-name) brands that offer a “Brushless Motor”. Forget that Mr. Tesla invented the Brushless Motor…it’s all about, “WHERE’ THE BEEF?” Now here’s where ‘Seeing is Believing’. Out of the box, try revving up this $99 DEWALT! Ah, the light show of sparks and the smell of crackling ozone. Let’s face it, ‘Brushless’ electric motors are superior. SO, let’s size all this up: This inexpensive DEWALT DRILL will get the job done. Certainly, if you are not already invested in wireless 20V LITHIUM ION tools, this twin-battery set is the way to go. If not, you might have some doubts. ADD TO THIS the fact that this DEWALT SYSTEM is not particularly LIGHT, there are other’s to consider.BOTTOM LINE: I’m too busy these days to return this PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE $99 tool which includes a lightweight DEWALT bag, batteries and charger. FINAL THOUGHT: If you have an immediate need for a good “SEMI-PRO” tool, YOU CAN’T GO WRONG with this DEWALT.

Reliable, easy and worth every penny (SERIOUSLY!)
Easily the best purchase I’ve made in the last 2 years. It helped me assemble my tables in a jiffy. If I needed to fix my door handles, I was able to do it easily. It also comes with 2 battery packs which makes sure you have enough power to get things done. I’m glad I bought this, 0 regrets.If you’re looking to make holes, remember to buy the hole kit as well which comes separately for $20-$30.

Feels great, looks great, lasts long
Fantastic drill. The batteries last long and I always have the drill on max torque, I donât work construction but I do DIY and IT for my job that requires me to install brackets, screw server equipment, etc. The 2 batteries are handy, and the battery charger can be a bit finicky and need to unplug and replug the battery to get it charging but it always works eventually. But quality drill, Iâm very happy with the purchase and recommend it.

Lo he usado poco, pero varios dÃas seguidos y ningún problema. Aún no lo uso para taladrar muro (ladrillo o concreto) y meter taquete. Lo he usado solamente para hacer hoyos y meter tornillos en madera. Al usarlo un tiempo, se vuelve un poco pesado; se cansa un poco la muñeca. La baterÃa se carga muy rápido (1.5 a 2 horas). Muy buen producto
