All lumber from your box will be kiln dried. You will receive a mix of species in each box. We will guarantee at least 3 species but will strive for greater variety. The species will range from Walnut, Red Oak, White Oak, Cherry, Birch, Soft Maple Hard Maple, Hickory, Cherry, Ash, Butternut and Red Grandis. The package will arrive with Lumber Surfaced-2-Sides (S2S) in varying sizes. Thank you for choosing us!

So impressed I ordered another box
Well packaged and great value. High quality flat straight boards S2S. My box had more than 3 varieties of wood. Grain and colors are beautiful. I initially purchased to practice joinery but these are far too nice. They will be made into small projects and I will find some other scrap to practice on first. I immediately ordered a second order after inspecting this order.

I am very pleased with the order, the wood pieces were all 3/4 inch thick and mixed width by 12 inches long. The quality was very good with some really nice grain and color. i will order again.

Nice box of wood
Nice box of wood. Several different species… At least 4 or 5. No defects in any of it. Everything is already cut square and surfaced on all sides. Some of the pieces are average looking, but most are pretty nice with a couple having really nice figure.

Contained Defects, at least 8 diff thicknesses.
Though having several species is nice, several boards are cracked, 2 are warped and 4 have a defect caused by a machine. Various thicknesses (not standard, so after planing) making it difficult to use different boards together. Description said no defects, but my order included defects. It was a gamble, would not order again.

Iâve ordered twice and will continue to order for my smaller projects
The cuts received are in fantastic shape. Iâve ordered from this supplier twice now and I have received some great straight grain oak, excellent maple peices, nice Cherry, and beautiful walnut. Perfect for all of my smaller projects and great for glue ups and panels as there isnât much of any milling that has to happen. Plenty thick for resawing into thinner peices for bookmatch peices and boxes.

A lot of scraps and defects in the box
There were several pieces that had a lot different defects. A few of the pieces were obvious scrap cut offs, glued pieces, rot, cracks, and other issues.The box did have a large variety of species and it did appear they were all S2S. The colors looked really good and there were several buffet thicknesses.
