Works Even in Grass
I ordered this because I dropped some screws in the grass and didn’t want them to find their way into a tire. Even with tall-ish grass, it picked them up. It picked up shavings ,so to keep the magnet it’s strongest, it helps to wipe the magnet now and then. Good quality, light weight, and worth the money.

Gets the job done
I ordered this because I was having my roof replaced and I wanted to make sure there were no nails left behind. I am so glad I did because this thing found several, as well as staples and other things. It is a good, strong magnet. The handle is a little short but that didn’t bother me. Very happy with this tool!!

It works great!
I recently had roofing and siding work done and figured it would be smart to get one of these. The crew brought their own magnet sweepers and went around the house, however I was still able to find a lot and then more. I cannot recommend this gadget enough. It’s also cathartic to hear the “ting” of each piece of metal it picks up. Don’t worry about the fancy ones with the magnet release, these work just as well if not better. Just wear gloves to protect your hands when brushing off the nails. The build quality is not the best, but for the price makes it work it. The joints do slide pending on your force when using, I just wrapped them with a little duct tape and didn’t have any issues. It’s a good size for the job.

This works great for rolling it around to find hardware that has been dropped around work sites. My husband is always working on projects and building things out here on our property. Heâs always very concerned about hardware left laying around, so it does not end up, giving us a flat tire with our vehicles. This picks up everything and works as described.

Flimsy, but worth the price for a one-time job.
I recently had my roof replaced. A friend recommended I get a magnetic sweeper because the roofing company would not do a great job cleaning up the nails. I opted for this one versus a much more expensive one. It got the job done. It picked up nails and nail barbs on the driveway, in the lawn and plant beds. The size was good because I was able to get under the bushes along the side of the house. The telescoping handle does not tighten into place. It collapses if you push the sweeper. I also had issues with the handle bending at the place where it inserted into the magnet when I pushed it and a wheel got caught on something. Solution is to pull it.

Very easy to put together and easy to use
I bought this because i lost a valve lash off of a briggs and stratton lawnmower engine and found it within seconds of rolling the magnet across the grass outside, It also picked up a screwdriver bit on the way, it makes a clicking sound when i pick something up which is great!, The magnet has great power aswell. Love it.

Did the job just as what it’s for. A very handy tool to have, rolled over the grass to pick up any nails after some works done, worked very well on grass. Not as good on gravel though. good size and easy to use.
