Great Bathtub Refresh
First time using a product like this. My bathtub needed a refresh and this stuff worked better than expected. The mostly timely part is the prep work, but once good to go, the product goes on smoothly and looks brand new.

Coats excellent
I used this product to coat an old porcelain tub that was harvest gold. I researched many refinishing products and decided that Bathworks met all my criteria for meeting my objectives. I was most concerned about the application process. Spraying, pouring, brushing, rolling were the choices. The best for me was rolling with a foam roller. I had no issues with the odor or anything associated with the application. I spent 3 days cleaning the tub and used EZ Etch for preparation. The EZ Etch is a must. Its recommended but it really is needed. I talked with a person at Sherwin Williams and he agreed that it is great stuff and strongly recommended I use it. Cleaning is 90% of the process. I’ve developed ceramic paints for them and for good adherence I had to develop a cleaner and primer. Once the tub was perfectly clean the application was simple. Just roll it on as their video suggest. Follow the instructions and don’t rush you have enough time to coat the tub. Don’t put too much paint on the roller but just enough to get coverage. Don’t dry roll. For the second coat don’t overdue the paint or it will run on the straight sides. Since this is a self leveling paint if you put too much paint on the second coat you will see runs develop. My advice is to go over them without adding more paint to the roller or it will get worse. This is all about technique and if you get runs or fisheye etc it’s not the products fault but your own. That said, I did develop a few runs and decided to leave it alone. Again it’s self leveling paint and I hoped they would spread out. Well after a few days the runs were were close to gone and unnoticed. Then let the paint cure. I left for 30 days without use. I have 3 baths. The paint dried rock hard and looks great. It adhered well, very glossy and looks first class. I’ve decided to do another tube with this product but this time I know I can avoid any runs since I believe I have a better understanding of the application process. It’s not hard just time consuming. Researching was the most frustrating part and I’m glad I chose the right product. Good luck. One suggestion on the video, please add a troubleshooting in it as to how to deal with runs. That would have helped me a bunch.

Get ready for a new bathtub or tile!
This Bathworks DIY kit was great! A few thoughts about it now after completing it on a bathtub recently.Pros:â Coverage was incredibleâ The white was vivid white like a new tubâ Came with mostly everything you would needâ To date, water resistance has been incredibleCons:â Smell was brutal. Even with a heavy respirator (which I highly recommend) and goggles it was intense and burning my eyesMake sure to plan out the steps. Spend as little time as possible being exposed to the paint if you can. Also, be as meticulous as possible and make sure to get chemical-resistance tape, because the painterâs tape I used (bad idea) fell apart on me.Pictures to come since Amazon wonât let me access my photo library ðOverall, a great product. Highly recommend it.

Nice Finish!
This product was pretty easy to use. Follow the instructions carefully! I would paint from the top to the bottom though, instructions are from bottom to top. This left a few paint drips that dried that way. Not a huge deal, but it would make it look professionally done without them. Finish seems to be quite durable- time will tell. This is the second time that this tub has been refinished, the last time someone put stickers on the tub when the paint was wet and I hated them! We did a lot of prepping by scraping and sanding the stickers off and sanding smooth all of the blemishes. You will need a good fan in the window or room as the smell is strong. We also changed the color from tan to white without any trouble or bleed through from the old color. Overall very happy with this product and would recommend for the DIY people!

Do not buy this product from bathworks. So upset with this product. Ruin my bathtub and sink.
I shouldnât bought this product. The roller brokes in the middle of painting and thank god I purchased 2 boxes so I used the second roller from the other box and itâs still keeps breaking into small tiny pieces and left the tub and sink looks bumpy and doesnât looks smooth, it looks small tiny bumpy with the broken sponge of roller ð°ð¥º I saw itâs leaving small pieces breaking from roller but canât even stop it because I canât leave half of bathtub done. I just canât believe this. I had a high expectation and now I m thinking how to remove the paint now ð¤¦ð»ââï¸ð¥º Iâm so sad I just ruin my bath tub and sink. They looks so bad and bumpy, not smooth at all. I wrote this review so no other people should ruin there bathroom with this product. Oh my god Iâm so sad.

Beautiful, shiny, white tub!
The product was easy to use. We followed all the directions very carefully. Since we only have a small window in our bathroom, we set the fan in the window to blow out. The smell wasn’t too bad with the overhead fan and window fan. The color has a bit of grey, but it’s so much better than the yellowy, beige ’90s tub we had before.

Wrong instructions
I’m used to skip before when I bought it from Lowe’s so I know vaguely with the instructions are these instructions that it came with are for the aerosol version not the roll-on version

Amazing Product!
I used this to restore a vintage sink to put in our barn bathroom. Product was easy to use, very easy-to-follow directions. The supplied foam roller does create a bit of an orange peel texture which is not unattractive. If you want a super-smooth and glossy finish, I would recommend getting a microfiber roller instead. Very happy with the results of this product and this project! take a look at the before and after; amazing!
