Setup is pain but once connect works great
Pros: The box that came in was very sturdy.Assembling the feeder out of the box was very easy to do.After the feeder was connected to the app, it was easy for me to set up a meal schedule for my cats.Food has not gotten stuck since having itIt is very easy to adjust the feeding schedule to the needs of my cats.The app will alert me if there are low food, or portions that have gotten stuck.This feeder has back up battery power. We had a storm once then knocked out the power for a couple of hours, but my cats were still able to eat on time. Thanks to the batteries.Cons: connecting to the app was a pain. It took about half an hour for me to get it to connect to the app. The app would get about halfway through the connection process and that would give me an error code.After I got the feeder finally connected to the app, I then saw that it needed a firmware update. The update took a while to happen, but once it updated, I have had no issues since.It was difficult to figure out what one portion size meant because it was not listed in the manual. After some internet browsing, I figured out that 1 portion=10grams. I was able to Google the math conversions from what I normally feed my cats in cups to grams and was able to set up a feeding portion size based on that information.Overall: I would overall recommend this product. Once you get past the initial connecting to the app, this product is super easy to use. I am someone that is constantly running around errands on my days off and I am usually gone from early in the morning till late at night so this is perfect to have.

2 years on, still works great!
Iâve had this since 2023. I bought it because my family has a summer home and I sometimes leave the cat home alone for the weekend. It has always done its job and shows no sign of stopping. It is a bit of a challenge to program. The instructions are correct, but so succinct they require a lot of thought to follow. But once itâs programmed it stays that way. It has a battery that keeps it going through power outages, and since those are kind of inevitable, this feature is really good for oneâs peace of mind and means you donât have to reprogram. I was a little concerned my scaredy cat would be afraid of it, but he comes running when he hears the kibble hit the metal dish! Iâve had no blockages. It has a little moisture packet in its lid that I change out once in a while, which probably keeps the kibble flowing. All in all, I highly recommend this machine.

Works great! Ive had this for several months. Its very adjustable and its never failed, even if it gets unplugged or if thereâs a power outage, as soon as it regains power it doesnât reset or need to be adjusted.

Not quite 6 litres. Display panel off when plugged in.
I bought this to feed my three outdoor cats while I was away for a week.When I returned home, I found it convenient to continue using it but I noticed that the display panel was not lit up.The directions are confusing, but there is a good video on YouTube that had me programing like a pro in just a few tries.I filled it with food and manually dropped the food several times with the different portion size feedings that you can program, to see how much food was dropped with each feeding. You can program 1 thru 6. I decided to program feeding size 6, 4 times a day.I used it for a week before I left to make sure it worked well. It did, right on time.I normally use a random size scoop to feed my cats. It is the blue scoop out of an oxy clean tub. I programed the feeder to drop four scoops a day. # 6 was one blue scoop. As I filled the feeder. I counted that it held 35 scoops. When I returned home there was a bit of food left that got dropped the next day in 2 feedings. The math says 4 scoops times 7 days=28 plus 2 more = 30. So, it fed 5 extra scoops over the week. The food was small so maybe more came out sometimes. OK.Today I decided to measure what 35 of my scoops actually equal. One litre is 8 scoops. Meaning the feeder does not hold 6 litres. It should have held 48 of my scoops. It holds a bit over 4 litres. I wish I would have measured it when before I returned it.All the above has nothing to do with why I returned it. When I returned from my trip. I noticed the display lights were out. I checked the wires and they were OK. If I tapped the unit, sometimes the lights would come on.When I unplugged it, the lights came on and stayed on. I have batteries in it. I read the directions again and it says that the lights should go out while running on the batteries. It is to save the battery power to last longer. You can push any button to turn them on.The lights should be on all the time when it is plugged in. Basically my electronics worked the opposite of what they should have. That’s why tapping the front of it sometimes turned the lights on. I hit a button.That’s why I returned it. I have found that when one part of an electric panel is faulty, eventually something else goes wrong.Also, there is no off/ on switch. With the battery back up, you would need to remove the batteries to turn it off which requires disassembly. But none of the cat feeders have an off switch that I have seen.The lid locks nicely. No chance of it falling off if the unit tips.I did not program the voice, but by the time I returned after a week, the cats could hear the motor engage and were there and waiting before the food fell.The food never got stuck and it always came out on time.I wish the display electronics had worked properly because everything else worked well for the month that I had it.Overall it is a nice unit.

This automatic feeder is one of the best that I have come across of. Very compact but also large enough to hold quite a few meals. And the sloe release is amazing because my dog loves to eat everything too fast and this way he gets a little at a time which helps him eat slower and prevent him from vomiting it all out. I am very busy sometimes so having this and forgetting about feeding the pup is amazing cause it just does the work for you. I just fill it up once every few days and the pup will eat it as it comes up. Couldnât be more conviennt.

Great product and it has a battery backup so if hydro fails no worries. It has a voice recordings but my cat donât react to it. I bought mostly because I can control the amount of food they eat and when I am away a few days I know they are being feed, if my sitter doesnât show up!

Thank goodness I had the 30$ off coupon. Not sure if it is worth the 95$ price tag. Took a bit longer to set up because instructions weren’t the easiest. But it’s set up, and not sure if I’ll even remember how to set up again if needed.
