Awesome gate–sturdy, easy to install, easy to use, improved cat door design
We purchased this as a replacement to another baby gate that had fallen into disrepair over the years. This product is very nice. It’s sturdy, easy to install, the door stays open due to the spring mechanism in it, it shuts smoothly on its own, and is easy to open and close (by an adult human). We use it to keep our dogs in the laundry room at night, but still allow our cats in and out. The cat door design is much better then the older one which was a swinging cat door. Reason being, our beagle could wiggle through the old door, so we rigged a tie strap solution to shut it just enough to prevent that. This new design allows you to adjust how open the sliding cat door is which is perfect. Cats can do in and out, but our beagle cannot. All in all, we love this new gate.

LOVE this walk-thru latching gate with cat door! â¤ï¸ This is EXACTLY what I was searching for! The cat door allows my cats into their feeding area, and prevents my dog from gaining access to their food. This walk-thru, latching gate is very sturdy, and a cinch to install. Very Easy!!! Highly recommend this gate for parents of toddlers!The cat door was the main reason for this purchase. The walk-thru gate sealed the deal!

Cat door works wonders
I purchased this gate to keep my dog out of the cats litter box. Works beautiful! Easy to install and the lock works as described. I’m 70 years old and installed it myself so that should tell you all you need to know. Fit the doorway with no problem and it’s quite sturdy. The door opens and latches with no problem. My cats figured it out rather quickly. Highly recommend this gate

Thank god this thing was so easy to put together and figure out because mine didnât come with instructions lol but that could just be my luck and not an everyone thing. It is sturdy and seems pretty stable. The lock is a a nice feature as well. The small door at the bottom is the perfect size for our cat to be able to get through but not our son. We went with the 36â height so that way it will last us for years to come and Iâm glad we did because we wonât have to worry about our son climbing over it. Overall seems worth the money spentðð»

Love this gate for our basement stairs. It opens and closes easily for adults, toddlers unable to open. Keeps dogs out of basement and allows cat easy access up and downstairs. The slow close door is a nice option. It is sturdy and looks great.

Nice Pet/Baby gate worth the extra money
Sturdy gate. We drilled the top two bars into the wall, and it doesn’t feel like it is going anywhere. The latch is easy to use and automatically locks behind you. It also has the prop open position, if you want to leave it open. The cat door is a perfect size for the cats to walk through, and Dug to be very jealous that he isn’t invited. Worth the extra money, in my opinion.

Love this gate. Very attractive, high quality product. Purchased for 2 kittens having their room in peace & quiet to eat, and my dog out of their food and litter box. Assembly not difficult, instructions were okay, but left out how to open the man gate. Gate latches top and bottom. To open gate you press the upper handle, but must pick up on the gate to unlock the lower rod. Not explained in instructions. Other than this, no issues. Happy kitties, unhappy dog.

Does what it is supposed to do and keeps the dog away from the cat food. Easy to lock in the cat door and the cat got the hang of it quickly. Was a bit tricky to get in as I havent screwed into wall but would purchase again.

This was purchased to keep a 20 lb dog recently diagnosed with IVDD from running down and up stairs. I looked around a lot before settling and am very happy with the product. I like that the width of the people door is wider than that of many other gates – about 23″- making it fairly easy to pass through while carrying things. The gate needs to sit at a bit of an angle at the top of the stairs here due to the wall/railing/baseboard configuration and the first time we set it up, it lasted only a few days before it collapsed in pieces. I think I contributed to that by putting a little pressure on it while coming through the gate. That was corrected by adding Wall Nanny wall protectors, also ordered from Amazon, and with the added support the gate has worked smoothly for the past 2 weeks. I’ve given 4 stars for installation and assembly as it is a little tricky and took 2 of us to figure it out. The instructions are pretty good and there are helpful videos online. I recommend this product.

Beautiful and easy to install. Happy I got the black color as it looks more upscale than the white one, which can look a bit more clinical.Very good quality built and the magnetic auto closure seems to work great. I like that it swings open both ways.Just got it so too soon to say how long it will last.One thing to note is that the pet door opening is quite small, the kittens that Iâm fostering are only about 5 to 6 pounds and you can see how theyâre fitting in the door in the picture. I think it will probably fit a cat up to 10 to 13 pounds but I donât think it will fit bigger cats a.k.a. Maine coons.
