Update 06/26/24 we recently got a cat from the shelter and he’s a good boy but he had an accident on my teen daughters bed (she shut her door and he couldn’t get to the box *dramatic eye roll*) When I say it stunk, it’s a total understatement! If you have cats you know what I mean! She washed her bedding at 2am and I was unaware until the morning. I went into her room and had to cover my nose it was so bad AFTER washing it, so I got all the bedding off the bed and took it to the washer and pulled out my silver works sheets!!!!!! IM TELLING YOU THESE WORKED ON CAT PEE! Not a TRACE of the smell left!!!! If you are not making these a part of your laundry life, you’re crazy! Buy them, you won’t regret it! I’ve had my box for ages! They last for a long time if you use them only when you have tough smells which is what I do! Thank you 🙏 silver works because I was so scared I’d have to throw out all her bedding! I am IMPRESSED AGAIN!Update…So I received my new silver works in the mail and used it! Let me tell you that these WORK! I had some sporty work out clothes from teens that were really stinky and have been for a while because laundry soap isn’t doing it!! I put a full sheet in with the load and also in the dryer and the smell is gone! No perfume odor either! It’s just gone! It’s not covered up with other smells. So it eliminates the smell! I recommend these sheets for sure! I can’t wait to see what the fabric spray does!So my original review is below in case anyone else has this issue because I didn’t know why until silver works told me! Silver works read my review and reached out to me (which is rare in my experience on Amazon) and let me know that those spots are not mold, they are the silver reacting to UV light and the product is safe and effective still! I felt terrible for leaving a scathing review and they have also said they will send me a new box and also some fabric spray for my trouble. WOW! I really wanted to try this product and so I am pumped to do so as soon as I get it! These guys have 💯 excellent customer service! I love silver and take it internally as well so I’m so glad that they reached out to me! I will update again after I use the product so stay tuned! (Original review which was not accurate because it’s not mold) … I opened this and first off it’s super expensive but if it worked then it’s worth it BUT there were spots of mold in there and I was shocked! I contacted Amazon and they were RUDE and would not do anything about it unless I sent them a box of mold in the mail which is pretty funny considering they have never asked me to return anything else when I have had issues and I’m not sending mold through the mail! It’s going in the trash!

I have used these several times… key things to pass along:1. Make sure your washing machine is clean first. I think when I first started using these, my washing machine needed a good cleaning… because the smell on my clothes after using these sheets seemed a bit sour, sometimes. I think somehow the sheet was drawing out some the the skunky smell from the machine and transferring into my clothes. I bought cleaning tablets for the washing machine, used 2 times in a row with an extra rinse both times, and now this isn’t a problem.2. My biggest issue is underarm / armpit smell on shirts I’ve owned for a long time. The sheets are definitely helping most but not all of my shirts. Some I guess are just too old and the smell is too ingrained in the fabric. That’s the only reason this gets 4 stars.3. I inherited some children’s clothing from a friend who has a dog, and BOY, YUCK, the dog smell stuck in those clothes was awful. Before I found these sheets I ran them through the washer/dryer twice, with improvement but still this nasty dog smell attached. I gave up and put them in the bin for that size children clothes, not wanting to deal with it until my child reached that size. Tonight I was in that bin and came across them… and thought to use one of these sheets with the items, about 15 pieces of clothes (all children’s cotton PJs). IT WORKED AMAZINGLY! I can’t believe it. The dog smell is totally gone. Thrilling and impressive.I hope this helps anyone wondering about these specific clothing smell issues out!

WATCH OUT FOR STAINING!!!
BEWARE OF STAINING. This DOES work to keep odors away but it has stained virtually all of our teens’ white clothing. Took us a long time to figure out that this is the culprit for the staining — initially thought it was our Blueland detergent tablets and/or Downy scent booster, but without using those products and still using the laundry sheets it is now obvious that the sheets can get caught up against clothing in the washer and cause brownish streaks. Very very disappointed in this — has ruined probably a dozen different white and light colored shirts, many of which are discontinued and/or were travel souvenirs. This is despite using half-sheets on smaller loads, and has happened for both front-loading HE machines and traditional toploaders. Will use what we have left on our towels and workout clothes but will never purchase again.
