Work perfectly and easy to install.
These are perfect. Full blackout, easy to cut, protects from the sun, and easy to install. They are only temporary but worked for what we needed as a temporary solution. I think they will last quite a while until we can get something more permanent. Great value and color was spot on.

    Easy and it works!
Perfect! Just needed a cheap short term solution so the blazing sun doesn’t come into my eyes every morning, this worked perfect. The best thing is they give you way more than enough sticky things to hold up the blackout shade, so you don’t need to worry about that at all. Setup was simple and it really does keep out the light. Thank you!

    Initially disappointed, then pleasantly surprised
When I first unboxed the curtains, I was a little thrown off at the fact that they’re not typical “curtain” fabric material and instead a flimsy feeling welded plastic fabric sheet. They are very thin, so I don’t think that it’s reasonable to expect any insulating properties (like reflectix). HOWEVER, the durability and overall function of them is great. While they may not be insulating at all, the silver side is very reflective and the curtains were cool to the touch on a sunny day. They are easy to trim and the edges don’t fray at all after cutting. I’m actually shocked at how strong the material is; it feels super flimsy but it took a huge amount of effort to get it to tear or stretch. It also packs down very small which is a plus. They’re about as blackout as a blackout curtain could be. The Velcro included sticks incredibly well and I haven’t had any issues with it so far.If you are purchasing this with the sole purpose of a blackout window covering that has good solar rejection properties, then I think you’ll be really happy with these. If you want something that has more of an insulating factor, then you will probably have better luck with reflectix. I’m using these for a privacy window covers in my truck camper and I think they serve their purpose very well.

    As dark as a cave!
These curtains are perfect to black out a room and then easily remove them. We have a murphy bed in our guest room, so we only need the curtains for when we have guests or if one of us is sick and needs to sleep separately. Our guest room’s window faces out onto our condo shared space with a light and an exit sign. The room stays lit if you just shut the blinds. However, when you put up this black out shade (we used the velcro), it’s like a cave in the room! They were very easy to cut to size and the velcro is high quality and sticks to the frame (you never notice it when the shade is off). It’s very durable, after multiple times being applied and removed. Highly recommend.

    Cheaper than therapy
This product far exceeded my expectations!!! I have a window above my bathtub that has the rainglass you cannot see through, but of course it lets light in (cellular shades diffuse it some). I wanted to be able to relax in a bubble bath with candles in a completely dark room, and this product does not disappoint! It is very easy to use and I was able to put it up without a second set of hands. I used the adhesive circles that come with it since I plan to keep it up all the time. It also comes with 12 velcro strips that are each 4″ long, and I will keep those to use with something else. My window is 46″ x 46″, so I cut the curtain in a 47″ x 47″ piece. You want to clean the outside of the window frame where you will adhere to the metal window frame. I think it is wise to stick this beyond the edge of the actual window glass so that the light is physically unable to penetrate any cracks. This is why the instructions say to cut it a little larger than the window. I used 16 of the 18 provided adhesive circles, which are VERY sticky. Peel each one off, stick to the clean metal frame facing inside to the room. The next step I would do differently next time. Then you peel off the other side (facing you) of each circle that is now on the frame to expose the sticky part that you will apply the curtain to. They are so sticky that it was a bit tricky to get each one started to pull off the backing…next time I would actually expose the sticky on both sides before putting it on the wall because you could just barely touch it to the frame so that your skin does not touch much of each side. Once you have the entire window frame ready with sticky side exposed toward you, start at the top and hold the curtain up (black side facing you) to make sure it exceeds just beyond each side and the top. Press the curtain hard against each sticky circle. Since you just barely stuck it on the wall to prevent pressing the inside sticky side, now pushing the curtain from the black side will allow you to press the circle well into the frame. Work your way down each side simultaneously to make sure the curtain again just barely passes over the edge of the frame and sticks to each circle, finishing the bottom horizontal side last. I cannot send a picture with the lights off because it literally is a dark room and I cannot believe not a single sliver of light comes through! Since this is between my window and the cellular blind, you cannot even tell it is there. Draw up my bubble bath, light the candles, and relax the cares away any time of day!! This would also work great with the velcro strips when traveling with small children who fall to sleep easier in darkness, especially outside of their normal sleeping location.

    Decent material poor Velcro/adhesive
Works pretty well, highly recommend buying your own adhesive or hook and loop though. Provides much needed darkness for night workers, and helps keep my house cool on hot days. The size is perfect for my 105”x65” windows with some trimming. All in all I recommend this product.

    Good Enough for the price!
I stayed at a air b n b with room darkening curtains a few weeks ago, and had wonderful sleep, and i have been trying to get that same experience in my bedroom with out all the costs involved in thick fabric. I think I found what will have to be good enough in these black out shades. they are removable and can be easily stored if I don’t want to keep them up. if I did a better job at cutting the shade and securing it to the wall, they would completely block the light. however, I am not a pro at installation. But for the price, somewhat easy set up and quick delivery, I recommend them to anyone looking for a similar expectations. They darken the room enough.

Easy to install with the double sided tape with velcro. Easy to take down in the morning, and paste back up at night. Overall an affordable solution to a blackout room. Cuts out some decibels from outside aswell.

I returned this item, but still wanted to write a review. The reason for returning is that it the material has a very plastic feel. Best analogy is to compare this to a very thin, cheap, plastic shower curtain. Similar feel and doesn’t look good. Aside from the aesthetics I was worried about whether the heat from the sun would melt the material.

Exactly what I needed. 100% blackout. Easy to cut & stick. I just wished they had the option of white velcro as my walls are white. Nonetheless, very happy with it.
