Excellent Tool â Powerful and Precise!
This rebar cutter exceeded my expectations! It cuts through steel like butter and saves so much time on the job. The build quality is solid, and itâs easy to use even for long periods. A must-have for any construction site or DIY project involving rebar. Highly recommend!

Not a single shaft/screw is straight
Not a single shaft is straight. The hex bit the drill attaches too? Wobbles really bad when you run the drill. The hand handle that screws in? The screw is set at about 10 degree angle, not straight. The screw that holds the metal piece/wire/bar that holds the unit against the drill handle? The screw was tweeked, didnt screw in straight. This thing was hobbled together and has horrible fit/ I guess the finish was okay, thats about it.Not even close to being worth the money.

If you do not have metal cutting experience this tool is not for you
Was skeptical about this with the reviews…but…bought it anyway.I think I see and understand the negative reviews and have some things to add to help clarify.1st. I used this on metal…22g and it cuts it just fine…the reason I bought it was to cut squares of flooring to use as pads/silencer pads to quiet the steel weights in my test weight carts.I had pictures of me cutting the steel sheets and the flooring (vct or whatever they call that stuff) but can not find the pics this is all i could find.2nd. The flat outer non knurled wheel is adjustable…it need to be run in and have the same pressure against the other wheel as a pair of tin snips/hedge trimmer blades have against each other. Too loose and you will get the cuts like you see in the pictures posted….too tight and it will bind up and not cut well.3. Add a bit of oil to the blades to help the disks slide over on another.. remember you are tightening them to one another.4. Use a variable speed drill on a very very slow speed….the slower I went the better/smoother/straighter my cut was. Don’t use an impact driver…5. Get the angle right on the drill and duct tape a paint stir stick to the back of it to let the stick ride on the metal and it hold your drill at the right angle to you can concentrate on steering and pushing. Plan your direction of cut…this tool operates the same way red and green snips do…..IT IS DIRECTIONAL WITH THE UP AND DOWN PUSH!Do those things and this little tool is a great little cutter. Don’t think for a second you are going to use it for a construction tool or industrial use or even to cut all the panels on your new barn roof. But for the occasional cutting and light use this is a good little tool. For 20 bucks don’t thing you are going to replace your kettle shears or nibbles or even your red and green wiss snips.

Great Tool/Accessory For A Great Price
I would recomend this to anyone as its not only a universal attachment that actually does its intended purpose for around $20 but its also well made with quality materials and a simplistic design (a simplistic design is a good thing that makes stuff easily Repairable/Repurposable) and as millenial and a Baby Boomer Roofers son i like it when a construction tool/accessory has a bit of weight to it.Â

Works Great Good Price
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Looked simple to operate and was a decent price. It cuts steel roofing very well, in fact works a bit better than the Dewalt cutter.Value for money:Good value for what you are paying. We will see how long it lasts.

Easy to assemble and fit fine inside my Ryobi drill.I have had a pile of cardboard moving boxes as well as some large shipping boxes sitting in my garage for a couple of years that I’ve been dreading slicing up. This tool allowed me to cut them into nice little squares and have them out with the weekly recycle. I also was able to cut up some scrap HVAC pipes I had lying around to fit them neatly in a box and save some space. For the price, this tool is excellent to have around to avoid having to use shears and/or knives to deal with things. Safer and much easier on the hands than using shears.

Good productWorked well but be sure you have a drill capable of generating torque and run at a fairly slow rpmI found the handle mounting bracket for the drill was too small to use on any of my drillsThe side hand hold works wellIâm cutting 22 gauge sheet with no issue

Just doesn’t work. I spent over an hour adjusting and adjusting the cut blade and the spin blade. Best I could get was 1/2″ of garbled metal. Regular tin snips do a far better job. If you are looking for some way of cutting metal roofing panels, this is NOT the solution. If i could return it I would but missed the cutoff window.
