I moved from a place where 25% is considered high humidity to the deep south, where the indoor humidity was averaging about 74% with the A/C running. I found myself turning the A/C down when it was really the humidity that was making me uncomfortable. Enter this little Waykar unit, which keeps me in the low 50s and high 40s consistently. Whew!The first unit I received leaked, but customer service was great. They even agreed to send the replacement before I returned the original so I didn’t have to miss any dehumidifying.Itâs shocking how much moisture it pulls from the air. I have to empty it three or four times per day. It comes with a hose, which you can run into a sink or bucket too.All in all this is a great little unit. Itâs small, not too noisy, sleek, modern looking, very efficient and it gets the job done.

Works well, but a little louder than expected.
We got this to deal with a consistent humidity issue in one room of our home. Over the few months we’ve had the unit, it’s worked well – dropping the humidity from the mid to high 60% range down to a consistent 40% to 45% while filling the catch tank about once a day.It’s quiet enough for day time use without issue, but the sound is noticeable at night when we’re sleeping. It’s not loud, but you do hear it start and stop from time to time and the drone is a bit more than I like to sleep with. Still, it does a good job and keeps the room at a nice humidity.The catch tank is reasonably easy to pull out to empty, but does take some care to not spill. There is a removable lid on the top of the tank which helps but there’s no really convenient way to carry the tank. While there is a continuous drain hose I’ve never had opportunity to use it.For the price, it’s been great. No complaints. We’re using it in a master bedroom space covering about 400 square feet, and taking a shower can raise the humidity substantially. This unit’s been able to lower the humidity back down quickly and has kept the walk-in closet dry as well.

Works good. Itâs small and doesnât take up much room. Easy to use, empty, and roll around to different spots. It is heavy, not easy to carry if you wanted to use on different floors of the house. It does make noise, like an air conditioner or loud refrigerator running, but not so loud itâs bothersome. Overall I am very happy with it.

The Waykar 2000 Square foot Dehumidifier is a great product. It has beautiful white styling, it is very quiet, and is a real value at only $169.00. The unit is very efficient, and easily drops the humidity in our Florida Condo down to 50%…which makes a big difference in our comfort level in “hot humid Florida”. It comes with a 2 year warranty after you register your product on-line. I recommend this dehumidifier to anyone living in a hot-humid climate, that wants to lower their humidity level significantly, at a very reasonable price.

Worked well for awhileâ¦..
This dehumidifier was efficient for removing moisture from the air in my basement for a few months after purchasing. Set up was easy and the unit was very quiet. I started to notice the dehumidifier would not drop below 65 relative humidity although the unit stayed set at 35. I contacted Waykar customer service and they were helpful with troubleshooting. It was recommended that another unit was more suitable to my needs and allowed me to exchange it for something more suitable.

This unit runs quiet, follows written specs for moisture removal, outstanding customer service and just a great little unit.However unit wasnt quite large enough to get my basement down to below 52%.Called customer service for advice and they were beyond helpful. Sent my info to tech support and they said we will give me a bigger unit with no extra charge. All communications were by text and within 24 hours. They said Just return this one. They sent shipping label for return. Couldnât be nicer. Received upgraded unit in ~3 days.I wish all Amazon sellers were so customer oriented.Canât thank Lauren at Waykar customer support enough.

Effective, butâ¦.
Not quite sure how to rate this. We bought 5 units – 2 for home, 3 for our business. Due to a very flawed design of the splash guard, 1 leaked immediately. 1 was fine, and we hadnât set up the others at that point. I contacted the manufacturer, and they said they would send me new splash guards, but I still havenât received. We just used them without the splash guards. But then the auto-shut off failed on a unit, and it overflowed. They actually do a good job of significantly lowering the humidity levels in our home and office – home was at 68% when I plugged them in, and now stays around 49%. If you purchase this unit, throw away the splash guard, and put a large plant tray under it just in case.

Love this product. Great for my crawl space as I can leave a large garbage bin and have the drain hose attachment drain into the bin. Donât have to check on it as often. Without the drain hose I was emptying the tank twice a day. Highly recommend.

Après un été d’utilisation il ne fonctionnait plus. Nous nous en servons pour le sous-sol mais l’hiver pas besoin on chauffe au bois. J’ai rebranché l’appareille se printemps pour enlever l’humidité, après deux jour nous nous somme rendu compte qu’il ne faisait que du vent. Ma garantie est fini depuis avril, alors je trouve cela très dispendieux pour seulement que 4-5 mois d’utilisation… Il a même l’air d’un neuf… le filtre n’est même pas sale.J’ai contacter Waykar sur leur site via le chat. En 24 heures il m’ont envoyé un premier e-mail pour me poser quelque question et j’ai même envoyé des photos.Le lendemain je recevais un autre e-mail de leur part pour m’offrir des solutions.Vraiment très satisfaite du services.
