Great Gate and easy to install
Before I bought this gate, we used whatever we needed to use to block the stairs from our dogs and grandson. It was ugly and a pain in the butt. This gate fixes it perfectly. I am so pleased with how it retracts and is virtually unnoticeable during the day. It is made of a sturdy mesh material that the cats have put their claws into, but not damaged at all. The gate automatically locks after 10 seconds or so, so even when the kitties push against it, it stays firm in place. It also goes almost all the way down to the floor, which we are grateful for, but it is tall/short enough for me (a 5’3 person) to step over if I need to in the middle of the night. Installation was smooth with clear instructions and it seems like it can be versatile to work in a variety of different locations as long as you can drill 4 screws into the material on each side.

A Perfect Solution!
I purchased a gate for my puppy but misjudged the width between the slats relative to his size. As soon as I installed the gate he came right through to the other side. That was good for a laugh! I really like the gate and didn’t want to take it down and wanted to find a solution, so I purchased this screen to install on one side of the gate. Eventually, as my puppy grows, I will probably just take down the gate and keep the screen because it’s out of the way and very sturdy. One of the other things I love about it is that my puppy can see through to the other side, so if we have to be separated for a little bit, he can still see where I am, which probably reduces the effects of any potential separation anxiety.The photo I took makes it look like it’s an odd size, but it isn’t. That was just the angle of my camera. I pulled the screen across, and you can see the gate on the other side. When my puppy has free reign of the house, the screen is retracted and the gate door is open.This screen is extremely well made, is very easy to install, and the rollaway design is very appealing. I would definitely purchase again.

Very sturdy
Installation was straightforward. While the bottom mounting bracket for the roll mechanism is widely adjustable, the mounting range for the bottom hook is not. We have an older house with high baseboards (6â) and it wasnât possible to mount the bottom hook above the baseboard. I ended up attaching the bottom hook to the baseboard and it works fine, just not perfectly vertical.The gate itself is well-made and very sturdy.

Attractive and Awesome
We love our TWO Likzest Retractable Baby Gates! We were looking for a solution to protect small grandchildren from stairs creating a safe play area, and to corral our pups if needed on the other side. The price and reviews on this were very good so we purchased our first gate, it came quickly and once we examined it, we decided to change our anticipated location for it and purchase a second gate for a better layout. The greatest thing though, beside it being made of sturdy plastic material and thick, but not rigid mesh, was it fit both our doorways. The first door was a standard size about 30″ or so, but the second was 53″. We were thrilled to have them match. The white worked well for us and is blends in because the mesh is somewhat see through, it’s not a solid visual barrier as you can see in the photos. The gate is easily operated with one hand by pushing down the circular button and pushing it toward the wall, the area beneath goes from red to green then the gate can be pulled out and hooked to the other side. The gate locks by itself in about 10-15 seconds. This locking makes the gate taut and prevents it from being unhooked until the button is pushed/slid again, something a smaller child couldn’t do. Pulling and hooking the gate to the other side is easy to do just by holding and pulling the top rectangular “loop”, but there is also a center handle if needed. After the first few tries to operate it, sometimes it can be pulled and hooked in one smooth movement. We highly recommend this gate. They look smart and work beautifully.

Likzest Retractable Gate
Really glad I found this gate, all the others Iâve tried ended up not fitting where I needed it the most. The Likzest retractable gate has proved to be most sufficient, fits perfectly at the top of my stairwell. It most certainly keeps the animals from getting through very well. Itâs nice because they donât/canât try jumping over; to tall for them from the steps.I love it most because it prohibits our 1 year old from getting curious. It holds up very nicely when he decides to get close to the stairs. I was a bit hesitant at first, but noticed that the mesh does have a tad bit of play, even when locked, that it will still hold tightly and prevent any kind of accidents from happening. The install was actually quite easy, nothing too difficult, and pretty quick. Only thing that was slightly tough was ensuring that it was even on both sides. Final result turned out wonderful, very pleased with the purchase and the quality of the product.
