They work as expected
They’re heavy duty alright, I’d recommend getting a third or fourth rod hanger (the tiny piece that attaches to the wall and holds the rod). But they absolutely are blackouts. The attached photos were taken at high noon on a hot August day. They were easy to install, the length and width are perfect, and the color is warm, soft, and neutral. Imo, you’re getting a good value for the price.

Lights Out!
These blackout curtains are an absolute game changer! Iâve never slept betterâthe bright morning sun used to flood my bedroom way too early, but now itâs blissfully dark and peaceful. Even on the hottest days, they do an amazing job of keeping the heat out and maintaining a cool, comfortable space. The fabric feels high-quality and adds a sleek touch to the room, too. If youâre looking for better sleep and temperature control, these curtains are 100% worth it!

Perfect
I bought these in red last year. Decided I wanted a color change and got these, I might just buy yet more colors too! They work great! they keep out all light, they help keep my bedroom cooler and or warmer per the season. they are heavy duty, the fabric is excellent along with the sewing and materials used. If you want blackout/climate control , i highly recommend these! Great price as well if you compare to others.

true blackout, nice product
Bottom line–they are TRUE blackout curtains. Yay! Your room will look pitch black if these curtains are closed on all the windows. Your baby will nap (I hope) and think it is night time. The Moroccan blue is a really on-trend color. Kind of a muted aqua, not loud, not overly bright. I can totally see this is any neutral room. It doesn’t look overly feminine or drab. I love all neutrals, but consider this color for window treatments when decorating a neutral room! Nice quality fabric! They were a tiny bit wrinkly out of the package but HELLO…all things are slightly wrinkly out of the package. They weren’t creased deeply. I bet a little steaming or ironing would do the trick, but I just don’t care about that tiny amount of wrinkling. I don’t like the grommets at the top, but they matched the description. It was what I expected. I just wish they offered it with a rod pocket, if that’s the right term. Maybe they do and I just didn’t notice? Who knows. Grommets make it easier to glide along the rod. Oh yeah–please note that a curved blackout rod is recommended. If the blackout curtains can curve toward the wall at the end, they can actually block the light out. I ordered a rod like this and it worked great. And the back part that you see through the window from outside of the house is black. Not shiny or weird. You might want to get something like…I don’t know, velcro or something to close the two drape panels together, but I haven’t really needed it. I just manually overlap the two panels a bit, and they stay. The material isn’t silky, so they have enough traction that the two panels kind of stay closed by themselves and don’t slid out of place.

Perfect blackout curtains for a babyâs room
We put these blackout curtains in our babyâs room to help her sleep better, and they have worked perfectly. They make the entire room very dark, even during the day in the summer or when it stays light out longer in the evenings. The length is just right â they reach all the way to the floor and cover the whole window without any gaps. They were easy to install, feel durable, and we havenât had any issues with wrinkles or tearing.I also love that the neutral design looks great in our babyâs nursery and will match as she grows. Overall, I highly recommend these if you need blackout curtains that really block out the light.

Great for blocking light, less great for heat
I got these curtains in navy blue, my favorite color. Love the dark blue of these. Also love how easy it is to slide these curtains open and closed as opposed to the type of curtains without the rings at the top. No ties are necessary to hold these curtains open.I am finding that they are great for blocking out light but not as great for blocking heat. My work desk is right in front of the window, and I find that the closed curtain works great to keep the sun off me at the time of day when sun is shines directly in the window. The curtains also work great to provide a dark cave in the room for sleeping late, with the only hints of light coming in being through the circles at the top and around the edges of the curtain if they’re not tucked in.I just wish they would keep the room cooler. Even if I have both curtains pulled shut all afternoon or all day, it doesn’t help the temperature stay lower in my bedroom. My bedroom is warmer than my living room, and the difference can be felt as soon as I enter my bedroom, not only near the window. I’m pretty sure it’s warmer than it was with the window shade I previously had on this window, but I decided to switch to blackout curtains when that shade started having cord problems and eventually became unusable. I love the convenience of using these curtains and love their light-blocking properties, but if you’re looking for excellent heat-blocking. I’m not sure these are it, at least in a dark color like the ones I got. I’m not sure whether their light-colored ones would be better for that.

Very Well Built and Darken The Room Well
These curtains are heavy, well built and look fab. I love how well they darken the room, and the material is thick and has a nice sheen to it. The back side is black I liked them so much I bought them again!

We recently repainted our living room/kitchen area and have been replacing outdated items in both spaces. These curtains are the perfect final touch to the space! They block out light, are incredibly soft, and seem to be nice quality. I was a bit hesitant to fork out the $150, but it was worth it now that we see them hung up! Highly recommend.

Yet another product that attempts to cheat you out of what you pay for. There is a section of the curtains that lack the blackout material, so they actually let the light in and through. (see the picture)This a difficult thing to capture with a phone camera but human evey can aesily see the dylight infitrating right throught the material, where both curtains meet.So as far as the curtains being “blackout curtains” they aren’t. Only partially. Buyer beware.

I have a very old house with drafty windows. These curtains will keep the cold out and also, block out almost all of the light. They hang very nice on the rod.
