Although the Amazon fitment guide suggested this did not fit my truck, the description said otherwise that it did. This 921 or T15 was used for the cargo light within the high third brake light for a 2022 GMC Canyon truck. The base of the LED lamp inserted firmly and securely without issue and proved to be quite bright and matched the factory optioned Bed Lights Kit that is also LED based. Now both light sources match in colour and brightness but the center red portion of the high brake light was left with the original incandescent bulb. I experienced no issues with bulb out warnings on the dash info panel, and all remote key fob functions performed as usual. This Lasfit LED bulb has a similar filament position as the the original incandescent bulb featured, so it throws the light as expected. Although they are slightly longer than original, they did not come close to touching anything within the light assembly. All in all a very simple, effective upgrade for your Canyon or Colorado truck 2015-2022.
