Do need to be assembled, but not too difficult to figure out, and they work well!
They do need to be assembled. I will tell you that the instructions were kind of hidden. Luckily, I am pretty handy and was able to figure out how they went together before I found the instructions. So far, they are perfect for what I needed. They seem pretty sturdy, and I am very pleased with them.

These shoeboxes are heavy duty, fit menâs shoes just right has a door that opens so you have easy access to get to your shoes. You can stack the shoeboxes in any order that accommodates your room.!I really like these and I have ordered four seats altogether!!

The appearance is good, but the quality is too bad!
I saved money to buy these several pairs of sports shoes for me. However, one of the boxes broke when it arrived, and the front door components of the other two boxes were deformed, causing the magnets on the doors to fail to connect and close completely. These boxes are aesthetically good. Unfortunately, the quality is very poor.
