No, we only recommend light spot cleaning with a damp cloth. Avoid using any harsh soaps or detergents that may damage the fabric.
Can these be an outside or ceiling mount?
Yes, these can be mounted inside the window frame, outside the window frame, or to the ceiling. The instructions include directions for each mounting style and the included brackets are designed to be used for either.
Is there a deduction?
There is no deduction. This shade is true to size.
Are these a privacy shade?
Yes, they are light filtering, but not sheer. They provide full privacy.
How do I operate these shades?

Great affordable option!
Wasnât sure about these when I got them out of the package (never know when buying online) – they are much lighter than expected but work really well and were easy to install and operate. Look nice, sized as described, and function well. Seems like they will handle daily use. Definitely recommend as an affordable and stylish option for Roman shades.

This is a great product! These are very well made, and the fabric is beautiful, itâs far exceeded my expectations. I got the Lexington Gainsboro Blackout and itâs a beautiful woven gray color. Iâve purchased custom window treatments from a different company in California in the past, and these are every bit as nice, for a fraction of the cost. They were packaged well, I received them quickly, and they were easy to install. I highly recommend them. I also love that they came is a wide range of sizes and I was able to find exactly what I needed.

UPDATE – I ordered a much lighter color and they work perfectly. This is a really nice shade for the money. Just be careful when choosing a close.FIRST REVIEW. Iâd like to give this product 5 stars, but the COLOR IS SO FAR OFF that I cannot. I ordered 5 of these in Belgian flax. So easy to install for a beginner!
I am an aspiring handy-woman. These are actually so simple to install. The directions made it seem worse because measuring was involved, but the measuring/placement of the brackets wonât impact the placement and centering of the actual blinds. So no sweat there! Took me about 5-10 minutes to hang up. Would totally purchase again for other windows in the house! They look great. The color is darker than the photos and less brown.. almost seems more grey-beige (I ordered the flax color).

The Good and Bad of the Situation
So let me say this is a long story so I’ll keep it as brief as I can. When I ordered the shades everything seem fine and the order got here in a sufficient time frame. Not quick but decent. I needed the shades here by a certain date so I was just glad they got here a week before I needed them. Sadly upon opening them they were the wrong color as their color names are very similar. This then sent the situation into a tailspin. I needed them by a certain point and I could not get a hold of the company and Amazon was doing their best to get a hold of them as they were showing my replacements wouldn’t be received till after I needed them. Long story short of a lot of back and forth the company finally responded after the holiday weekend and was able to overnight ship them. For that I was grateful and rate them well in what they were able to do at no cost to me. 5 stars on that.Now the shades themselves are nice and overall seem like a good quality until you get to the brackets and the top mechanism. My husband and friend are very quick at things and this didn’t seem like rocket science but we are unsure how so many reviews said these were SO easy to install. We would struggle forever to get the shades locked in place. Getting the back part in was a breeze but the front was a bear. Then we came to find out the top mechanism isn’t made of aluminum/metal like we thought but plastic. We ended up having one break but we were able to make it work without needing to send it back. Now that they are up they look great and seem to work just fine. So if you were to look at them I’d say a solid 4 stars but it shouldn’t take us 3 or so hours to get up 4 shades. It should just snap in easy. And the shades should be made of a better quality than to snap like that. The brackets seemed they were out too much and had just a few things been different it would of been easier. I am concerned to buy these again just because of how bad the install was. Otherwise I wouldn’t have minded purchasing again as they were great about getting me the product on time. So because of that I rate that part about a 3 star.

Perfection!
These Roman shades were perfect for our covered deck door, which has glass and faces right into our dining and kitchen area so basically where we spend most of our time. At night, it felt like we were on display, so we really needed something to give us some privacy without sacrificing style. These shades are affordable, look great, and do exactly what we needed.Installation was very straightforward, though I will say the hardware wasnât included in the package. However, I reached out to the seller and they shipped it out immediately, amazing customer service! One tip: steam them after installing to smooth out any wrinkles and give them a more polished look. Highly recommend!
