Reliable and Efficient Printer for Home Office Use
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e has been a great addition to my home office setup. Itâs easy to set up and connect wirelessly, which makes printing from multiple devices super convenient. The print quality is sharp and vibrant, whether Iâm printing documents or photos.I also appreciate the versatilityâscanning, copying, and faxing all work smoothly, and the automatic document feeder (ADF) saves me time when handling multi-page jobs. Duplex printing is a bonus for reducing paper use, and the printer runs quietly during operation. The included 3-month Instant Ink trial was a nice touch to get started without worrying about ink right away. Overall, this printer delivers professional-quality results and is perfect for anyone needing a reliable all-in-one device for their home office.

You get what you pay for.
My wife had an older model which worked great but suddenly had ‘Printer Failure’ without any explanation what was wrong. I contacted HP support to see if it could be fixed. After about an hour on the phone with someone having a thick Indian accent and hearing his kids screaming in the background he told me HP no longer supported the printer and there was nothing left for me to do but consider it junk. I was done with HP and found another replacement from a different vendor. But my wife wanted a printer with scanning and fax. HP was the only printer at a reasonable price so reluctantly I ordered the latest Office Jet Pro which arrived today.Setup went relatively smooth and got the printer working on one of our MAC Book Pros. But to allow the another MacBook Pro access to the printer required installation of a suitable device driver. HP is horrible for setting up the printer on another laptop. They send you to a 3rd party site to download and PAY for the driver. I didn’t want to spend my time in searching device driver hell to get it working on the other laptop. So I called HP support for help. Bad idea, I got another Indian with kids screaming in the background. He really didn’t know what he was doing and wanted to take over my laptop to run maintenance because the download of the driver failed. He didn’t have any options to solve the issue so the conversation was ended abruptly. You buy a HP printer and it doesn’t come with a manual. They give you a site so you can PAY for a manual.I finally got printer working by installing the HP Smart application. It had the option to add a printer to the laptop. It was confusing at first until I figured out the setup has to Bluetooth directly to the printer and do the setup. Documentation to that end was non-existent.So I have the printer working on all my devices (except our iPhones, aggravation for another day). But it is sloooowwww printing. For the meantime I’ll use this printer until it breaks and I have no intention in dealing with the putrid HP support.Shame on you HP for you ridiculous and terrible support. At least you can provide a manual.

HP does it again – ever reliable
I recently got the HP 8130e, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home office. The printing is super clear, the colors pop beautifully on paper, and it prints quickly – no more waiting around! It also has a sleek design and is lightweight, making it easy to move around or store on a cart if needed. Setting it up was simple! There are instructions included, but honestly, if you’re even halfway tech-saavy, you won’t need them. It took approximately 15 minutes to set it all up, from opening the box to print – ready. The look is sleek and modern. There is a pull out paper tray and the location where the ink cartridges are is the same as other HP printers, you just gently pull the white facing (both next to the lights and next to the label) toward you and voila! Opened! It also holds a sufficient amount of paper for what the printer is designed for, so you should not need to reload constantly. Connecting it to my network was seamless, and I love how quickly it synced with all my devices. Now I can print from my computer, laptop, tablet, or phone without any hassle. I also signed up for the instant ink and paper subscription that came with three months free. I’m really excited about this feature – it’s super convenient knowing I’ll never run out of ink because it’ll arrive ahead of time, and the price is very reasonable. Great for people who procrastinate on buying things! As a heads up if you’ve never used HP+ before, when you sign up for it (which is totally optional), HP requires you to have an HP account (obvious), but they also require you to maintain an ongoing connection to the internet AND use only Original HP ink cartridges for the life of the printer. While I do this anyway, I do think it’s extremely important for anyone who is interested in trying out HP+ that there is no going back once you sign up, so your printer will only work after signing up if you do those things. No biggie for most I’m sure, but always good to know! All in all, I’m very happy with this printer and highly recommend it!

Iâm really impressed with this printer! It can print from anywhere in the house, which is super convenient. The installation process was quick and easy, and it fits well in compact spaces â it’s small but not too small, which is perfect for my setup. The only downside is that the paper tray is a bit shallow. If you print often, youâll need to refill the paper more frequently than Iâd like. Other than that, itâs a fantastic printer that does everything I need.Highly recommend this printer â especially for those looking for space-saving options and seamless printing from anywhere in the house!

Working well so far.

Terrible product. I want to know how to return. It is very slow and has many error status. The scanner doesn’t work when fed from the feeder. Also, feel like the product team care most about detecting non HP ink.

The quality of this hp printer to my last one is much better. What I find significantly worse is the speed to send a simple recipe from my phone to print⦠what used to take 3-5 seconds takes a minute or more pending the size of the file. Sometimes Iâve cancelled a print because I donât have time to wait. Iâve had no issues with connectivity or maintaining that connection.

It has some weight, I carried it home from the postal outlet, driving is smarter! Replacing a much older model that died. The setup is a little different, use the online helps. The format for scans is different. The image is better. A multi-page scan will produce a scan for each page and not one long multi-page the old machine produced. Generally good thinking, you might put a post-it note on the machine in plain view with your Wifi code so others can get their devices linked without chasing after you again and again.
