Heavy-Duty Torque Without the Hassle
The Precision Instruments PREC4D600F is my go-to torque wrench for lug nuts on heavy-duty trucks. Itâs built tough, and the 200â600 ft-lb range covers everything I need for wheel torque specs without breaking a sweat. What I really like is the split-beam designâthereâs no need to reset it to zero after use, which saves time and keeps it ready to go. The click is easy to feel, even with gloves on, and the adjustment is smooth and fast. Once you set it, you know itâs accurate.Itâs a big wrench, but itâs balanced well and doesnât feel awkward to use, even when youâre reaching around duals or dealing with tight clearances. The ratcheting head is solid and holds up under regular use with no issues.

Good torque wrench
I find the torque wrench accurate as compared to coworkers Snap-on wrench of similar design for a fraction of the cost. Adjustment is quick and easy as well as disassembly and storage in the provided case.

best online price anywhere for this high quality Torque Wrench.
The Precision Instruments torque wrench is the top of the line in quality and the Amazon price was the best price of any distributors. . Precision Instruments appears to be the actual maker of Snap-ON, Proto, Mac and many other branded torque wrenches who then sell as their own, although Precision won’t admit it publicly..The click split beam construction vs. more common spring scale design means you never have to reset or offload tension after using. . . set it and forget it. . . Four foot overall length makes it easy to tighten those high torque fasteners.

Heavy duty unit, strong storage case, transportable. Great value.
This torque wrench is a 4 piece unit, packed up nice & neat in a heavy built plastic case w/handle and actual metal clasps to keep it closed! Contents: 3/4â drive head, insert bar, main body, and handle/torque mechanism, instruction sheet, certification papers. Dial type torque wrench that doesnât need to be brough back to zero before storage, marked in 10 lb increments. Geared head rachet is reversible, but user must turn main body 180* when changing direction of torque. Gear head can be used as a rachet alone with proper handle (not included) attached to loosen or tighten bolts, just not with the supplied torque handle and torque body parts. (Thatâs called stupidity when you use a torque wrench as a regular rachet). Heavy, well made, snug fitting parts. Nothing cheap or light weight about it. Great price for a certified 3/4â drive torque wrench. Bought mine for checking torque of lug nuts on my motorhome, 450 ft lbs, and installing new trailing arms on it, 550 lbs. Charging friends & fellow RVâs $ to check their nuts. Safety first, you know!

Awesome torque
This torque wrench is awesome. The company is the same that makes snap on so the torque accuracy is tip top. The case is nice and the tool breaks down so it does not take up much space

GREAT TOOL
I bought this as it was much needed in my line of work being a mechanic on heavy equipment. This is a good brand tool and it is made in the USA (another reason to buy it). It can be found on any tool truck (SnapOn, MAC, Matco, Cornwell) but at a bit higher cost. I have the 1/4â , 3/8â, and 1/2â drive wrenches in the same brand and they have held up great. I did but those through my local tool truck rep. though.I definitely recommend it.
