This is my 3rd purchase, and the lights work exceptionally well. I had one for 11 months that stopped working. I contacted them with a response within hours and received a response from them. I had purchased an extended warranty, but I found I was within the 12 months of their warranty. Simple, friendly conversation, and I have a replacement on the way. A rare find in most manufacturers. They have stayed in contact with me, and I expect my replacement any day. Very professional and customer-oriented. I bought 2 additional lights. The coverage for detection seems to be around 180°, and the light is very bright, cycling intermittently. I highly recommend their customer support and multiple products. A Great Yard Light (Updated 2/8/2023)
I installed this light 18 months ago & it’s still working great. One of the best motion detector lights I’ve purchased. I have one I bought from Home Depot & another I bought from Costco, this light is by far the best one. It’s very bright (1600 lumens) & easy to set up, the solar panel is pretty strong & is mounted on my roof, I mounted the light about 8ft high & set it at the middle sensitivity setting, it works great! Picks up a human (or even a feral cat) as soon as they enter the side yard (about 15ft either side of the light) & the light illuminates the whole yard. I am going to get another one for our back yard to replace the cheap Costco one that has crapped out after less than 6 months. Edit: I read that one reviewer said he thinks his lights come on during the day because they don’t work at night so the battery must be drained, in the 3 years I’ve had these lights I have NEVER seen mine on during the day. They have a built in light sensor that prevents them operating during daylight.UPDATE::::: 2/8/2023. The original light I bought in May of 2021 is still going as good as ever so I bought another one for the front yard (see 2 new photos, without light on & with light on). These are great lights, as you can see the new one lights up our small front yard like daylight, next I will get one for our back yard.

Very adjustable, and different colors available
I installed two of these – one white and one brown. Generally, they were easy to install – although the mounting panel can be a little difficult to get off the lamp out of the box (I pushed it off with a flat head screwdriver) and a little tricky to slide the lamp onto if you can’t see what you’re doing from the side. With a patience, it will get there, though – and holds securely. All three lamps and the motion sensor are independently adjustable for angle. It’s not a super bright lamp, but it’s bright enough to add safety to poorly lit areas. Dials can adjust to distance for the motion sensor, and the time period the light stays on. This has been a game changer for me on a poorly lit driveway and walkway. Total installation for both units was about 30-40 minutes – which included running the power line through a wall for one unit. Overall, this is a pretty good product and useful for areas with no wired power. The length of the power line from the solar panel to the lamp should be sufficient to find sunny spot for the panel.

This light seems to work well. To the reviewer that stated this light turns on during daylight, apparently according to the instructions, this does sense daylight and will not activate during this time. Make sure that the knob on the bottom of the motion detector is not set to test but set to either 30, 60 or 120 seconds. Iâve tried to activate it during daylight and would not come on.

TlDr: Honestly it’s a really great solar powered light. It’s very bright and has alot of ways to customize it to suit your needs. The long cable to mount the solar panel at a location of your choosing is a huge bonus. People complaining about it not working properly; read the instructions for how to properly setup the sensitivities.UPDATE 01: I’ve only had it for 2 days, so i’ll report back on battery life, rainy days, cloudy days, etc once it’s gotten some more use.PROS:1. Lots of customizable options for timer, sensitivity, solar placement location, etc2. Very powerful light3. I have it placed on the steeple of the outdoor shed, located at the back end of my backyard, and it brightens the shed, the front of the shed, and reaches all the way down the driveway to my back patio.4. I recommenced installing during the day, then customizing it at night so you can get a good idea of how it actually looks while working.5. There is an ‘ON’ mode (AKA always on) which you could use for when you don’t want the light to turn off while you’re in a specific area. That’s pretty convenient.OTHER THOUGHTS1. I thought maybe this light had an auto on mode where it casted a low light at night, then went to full bright when it detected motion. It doesn’t, which is fine, but I think that could be a cool feature. Granted I’m sure that depletes battery life substantially.2. With just this one light, I’d say my entire backyard went from pitch black at night to 20% illuminated overall. Within a 6ft radius around my shed, it’s 80% illuminated. I wouldn’t mind buying like, 2 more of these and placing them at different ends of the backyard and having a fully 100% lit up backyard all through solar.3. Curious how these will hold up over time, especially in the winter rainy days or cloudy days.FINAL THOUGHT:1. Don’t throw away the instructions, and read it a few times. Setting up your light correctly depends highly on reading the instructions and how each setting effects the others.
