Light, easy to use.
This light bar is great!Easy to install. Easy to use. It does not have a motion dection on/off feature BUT the hi/low, on/off switch is really accessible. It runs to 1200 lumens (very bight) with low watt useage. This is such a great light I willbe adding more to my cabinet lighting.

Works well in my garage
With only 2 lights in the garage, the far side of the workbench was rather dark, put this up, and it is working great. Cannot attest to its longevity yet, but will update if it doesn’t hold up. Easy mounting, easy installation overall. I tried my best to take pictures and show the difference, the camera has its own ideas for helping with lighting. so hopefully the contrast of on and off came through. its not as bright as the 100 watt equivalent Led light on the close end of the bench, seems like maybe 75 ish watt equivalent light output. This comes on bright instantly, and at first is brighter than the other led bulb, once the bulb warms up, then it becomes noticeably brighter. Hope the pics help. its easy enough to put 2 up, also note I went for the 3000k light. Debating adding a few more. I paired this with this for easy install using the exisiting light socket.Onite 2pcs E26 to E26 Two Outlet Socket Adapter, US Standard Screw Light Holder E26 to Outlet Splitter, BlackUpdate 7/15/19 this light is still working very well. No issues what so ever. Highly recommend. not quite a year yet, 9 months.

Great light and they look nice but they do run hot.
I have just installed two 36″ of these GE Premium LED light bars and four of the 12″ light bars, by direct wire installation. I like the quality of the light, but my complaint is that they do run hot which is very surprising since they are LED. They heat up things in the cabinets above them. I’m going to contact the manufacturer, but I wonder if anyone else has had this experience.I add that I made the same mistake other reviewers did and for a direct wire installation I ordered the GE Direct Wire Junction Box No. 32612, which is the model the Amazon listing steers you to under the “frequently bought with” heading. I was shipped Junction Box No. 24772 by Amazon, but like the other reviewers I found out that I in fact need Junction Box No. 39971 for a direct wire installation. Unfortunately the listing on Amazon doesn’t make this clear at all. As a result I had to snip the plastic locking nibs off the socket in order to force my lights to work with the supplied Junction Box No. 24772.I am now talking to customer support to see if the heat generated by these light units is a result of using the wrong Junction Box. Apart from a possible reversal in polarity I can’t see that what connector you used should make a difference; these are all 120 volt units.

Excellent quality and does the job well!
I’ve daisy chained 3 of these for my workbench area. The dual brightness settings are nice and I use the “High” setting exclusively. Three of these are enough to light my entire area that was previously lit by a conventional light fixture mounted to the ceiling. This fixture also made the room hot. The master closet is 10’x6′.I was initially put off by the price and tried just one, which was purchased at Home Depot. After seeing how well it lit the area, I immediately bought two more from Amazon. There is a direct wire option so you can use a regular light switch to operate, but I simply added a switched plug which works for me. Also, when installing, just be careful not to break the mounting tabs as they’re just flimsy plastic.Highly recommended! Thanks

Perfect Under_the cabinet light
I’ve been looking for this type of lights all over and finally found it. I like it because it’s slim and flat, so none can see it. The only improvement is to have wifi capability. Other than that, it’s perfect for my beautiful kitchen. The question is if it’s easy to install? I would not know because we don’t do it ourselves. We had a professional to do this for us. He cut the wires, whatever to fit into our cabinets perfectly.

Bought 3 lights, 2 failed within a month, eventually all failed.
I bought one light, loved it, and wrote a 5-star review. Then I bought two more and the problems started. One light failed within weeks, then the other failed within a month. The failure was the same for both lights. The low setting stopped working, but the high setting continued to work. I like the low setting bette most of the time. Amazon has been good about the situation, sending replacements, but I’m concerned how long these will last, since two failed so soon after installation. I’m going to call GE and see if they have any suggestions on operation.Update During 2021 I ended up buying 4 of these lights. All failed completely, both low and high settings; three were replaced and of those 2 have since failed. 1 continues to operate. They were all manufactured by JASCO and branded ‘GE’.Bad for me, but these are the perfect form factor (slim, flat), color temp (3000K), and lumens (1200+) for my application. Maybe I’m a glutton for punishments, but I just purchased two more (directly from Jasco and now branded ‘Enbrighten’). I’m hoping history doesn’t repeat itself and these all die within a year to two. If so, I’ll let Jasco know directly. Buy with caution as the quality is suspect; at least with the previous iteration and branding.

After 16 Month light use the dim setting no longer works. One switch with two settings: bright or dim.
