Is this security camera compatible with 5GHz Wi-Fi?
No, this outdoor wireless camera can only connect with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. The 2.4GHz network provides wider coverage and consistent performance than 5GHz network for wireless for home security due to its lower frequency. (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported)
How long does this solar camera last on a single charge?
Actual battery life depends on several factors such as the number of times motion is detected, event recording duration, and environmental temperatures. The more motion events are detected, the more power the camera consumes.
Does the cameras for home security support 24/7 continuos recording?
No. Battery camera doesn’t support continuous recording as it need to save power for a longer life. But this wireless camera with its PIR feature can detect and record the important movement when any motions occur.
How can I make my outdoor security camera not drain so fast?
You can customize the detection sensitivity level to reduce false alarms and thus save battery power. It is recommended to place the camera in direct sunlight with enough solar power to ensure that the camera stays charged.
Does the battery need to be charged immediately out of the box?
Each camera is fully charged before shipment and may run out of power during transportation. When you get the camera, you can turn on the “ON” button to check if the indicator lightis on. If it does not, charge it for 4-5 hours using the type C-cord.

Why The B7 security features are very unique (dual lens) in the quality functions and display. It appears it has an optical lens to truly focus on your subject I am viewing. I’m thinking the dual lens enhanced the viewing power. I love this function. No lack time using the PTZ. Sharp imagery and especially at night. This camera is definitely a security winner. Easy to install and connect to your router. The night vision is very vibrant. Spectacular solar camera
This solar security camera is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to set up and connected to my WiFi without issue. The range is decent as I have this set up to monitor the back yard from my detached garage. It would have been hard to get electric to the area that I placed the camera, so the solar aspect was a must have. Been using this camera about a month and the camera stays charged. The picture quality is good and provides a wide view. I find the motion alerts and optical zoom features useful. We have wildlife in the backyard and it detects the deer passing through. I do not have Alexa so I do not use that capability.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Nice sharp picture, camera is easy to set up and works right away. I like the camera because I can set it up to alert me if someone walks within range of it. Additionally, I can set it up to watch my pets or just a human; it’s my choice. I can adjust the camera’s sensitivity and the length of the video being captured. It certainly is a good value for the money compared to others. The app is user-friendly and has a nice, clear recording. The view angle is easy to adjust remotely and has a good range of motion.

A nice solar camera
The camera is very easy to setup and is similar to the other Wansview cameras that I own. This camera has a solar panel which can be attached to the top of the camera so that you only have to screw the camera to the side of your house. Solar works well and all my cameras stay charged even on cloudy days. This camera has a separate zoom lens or you can use the standard wide angle. You can use the app to rotate the camera. It has a white light that turns on at night if there is motion, depending on your setting. Night time photos/videos are black and white if the light is turned off. Daytime color photo and video quality are great. A great camera and affordable enough to put them all around your house.

There isnât anything about this camera that I donât like. Reliable, eco-friendly, and hassle-free! This solar outdoor camera has exceeded my expectations. The built-in solar panel ensures continuous power, eliminating the need for frequent battery changes or wiring hassles. Solar batteries are at a constant 100%. Even low wifi signals do not seem to diminish instant alerts nor do they cause missed activity. The video quality is crisp, even in low-light conditions, and the motion detection is spot-on. Quality product, exceeded expectations
I had this camera working now for a week and I’m really impressed with a lot of things.The mounting position of the camera can be: attached to the ceiling or wall with an included bracket or let it sit on a flat surface; via settings is possible to flip the image by 180 degree to match your desired mounting position.The initial setup process is very easy and self-intuitive, after you download the App, it takes only few minutes to pair the camera, scan a QR code and everything is working.There are internal rechargeable batteries which seems to have a very long life, after 3 days sending several motion detection alarms, using IR vision in combination with the night light, while constantly connected to the WiFi, it is still showing 98% charged.In the package you will also find a USB cable to leave it connected to a wall charger or a solar panel to be installed stand alone in a very convenient position thanks to the generous length of the cable.This camera has 2 lenses (1x and 4x) with an excellent quality image, and a clear light in addition to the IR vision. In the settings you can select if at night you want to have only IR vision or if you want to turn on the embedded clear light when motion detection occurs.The microphone and speaker are also of good quality, finally I have a camera where the 2 way communication is pretty decent and easy to hear.In the various options provided by the App, there is a siren, privacy mode/area, alerts, share the control, predefined positions, and a small console to control the rotating position both vertically and horizontally.It is also possible to install a micro SD card to record locally or there is a cloud service.In conclusion, I didn’t expect such quality and great functionalities for this price, I highly recommend it.
