SOFTEST TOOTHBRUSH EVER CREATED
I have been using bamboo toothbrushes for about a year now and have used several different kinds as I tend to replace mine every 2 months or so. I had read about these online and after I started using a charcoal toothpaste, I wanted to complete the set with the charcoal bristles because, why not!?First of all, the packaging that these toothbrushes are in, is probably the best packaging I have ever received a toiletry item in, over the course of my whole life. A beautiful and soft recycled box which holds 4 more smaller boxes for each toothbrush. It is the little steps like this that can make a product just so much more special. Once opening the box I am greeted with a super smooth and soft handle, no jagged edges like some have. The bristles all look pristine and have a great charcoal color to them. Then, I touched the bristles and holy cow! These bristles are softer than the bamboo sheets on my bed!!! I am not kidding, I just stood there and felt the bristles for a good minute or so. Most other bamboo toothbrushes, or even most electric toothbrushes take a good week or so of breaking in so that the bristles don’t hurt anymore, but out of the box, this was ready to go.That night I had the best brush of my life and I can now say with confidence that I found the ultimate toothbrush.

Good for the environment
I read reviews for this product before purchasing. The most common complaints were that the bristles were too hard, they fell off, and the wood chafed people’s lips. I didn’t experience any of these problems when using the toothbrushes, and I’ve been using them for a few months now. The bristles are softer than the ones on my old plastic toothbrush, and I actually wish they were a little harder. No bristles have fallen out as far as I can tell. I would recommend letting the handle of the toothbrush air dry often.I bought these toothbrushes because they’re eco-friendly, so I didn’t care about the whitening capabilities of the charcoal; however, if that is the reason you’re buying them I feel compelled to say I haven’t noticed a difference in how white my teeth are since I started using them.

Recommended for Charcoal Teeth Whitening Powder, But the Handles Stain Permanently!!!!!
These toothbrushes are really soft, and I like that. The bamboo handles look nice, but stain easily, and the stain does not come off. If you are using these for toothpaste, that is not a problem. However, if you are using it for charcoal teeth whitening powder, they are going to turn black. If you don’t mind the way they look (the handle will match the brushes), there is no problem. I have been using the same brush for the past month for charcoal tooth whitening, and with regular toothpaste. They work just as well as new. The bamboo handle does feel good in the hand, just kind of natural. My husband like them, as well, so I plan to purchase more in the future.

I bought these toothbrushes because I thought they would be more environmentally conscious. And in my opinion they are. What I didn’t expect was how good they would feel on my teeth and gums. I normally don’t write product reviews, but these toothbrushes are AMAZING. They make you want to brush your teeth. I don’t see how any dentist would not agree with these toothbrushes. They FEEL great.EDIT: I tried another bamboo toothbrushes they weren’t as good. This one has sturdy bristles, unlike the others. However, the bristles are still soft.

Bristles are wimpy plastic, wooden head thick and cumbersome
My husband and I tried these brushes in an attempt to reduce our plastic footprint, but we did not like the thick wooden head feel in our mouths and it actually was an obstacle to reach our molars. Also, the bristles are plastic and kind of wimpy, several bristles fell out. Not a fan. We threw out the ones we tried, stored the remaining, and have gone back to the traditional plastic brushes.

Great Product
I have been starting reducing the plastic I use in the house. These were the first brushes I tried and I absolutely love them! I’ve heart of bamboo tooth brushes causing splinters or bristles falling out easily- I have not had this issue and i’m a few toothbrushes in! My boyfriend is not all about this no plastic thing but he loves how durable and sturdy these brushes are- he likes a firm bristle, these are soft but firm not flimsy.

Loving this toothbrush! Gave one to my brother as a gift and he usually destroys his toothbrushes but so far its been holding up for him! We both noticed that our teeth feel so much cleaner with these brushes. On my way to convert the rest of my family to use bamboo toothbrushes as opposed to nasty plastic ones. Also it is a bit more on the medium side for stiffness.-Update 15 July 2016-Still love these brushes however the new black ones are a bit soft. They still clean well but I’ve got to work it more than the last ones.
