Great Item and fits on some e-bikes!
This product is great! Very strong and durable build. Installation was easier than a previous bike rack I purchased. This actually fits on my E-bike! I was pleasantly surprised. The basket is nice and sturdy too. Very happy with my purchase.

The product is pretty much perfect with just a few quibbles…
The way it comes is that the basket is connected so that the front right and back are connected, and the left is free so when assembled it creates a basket. That’s a really cool feature if it was only assembled properly from the start, with the front side and back as one piece and a the remaining side a single piece.The problem with this is that I bought it and presume everyone would buy this imagining the basket can be quickly deconstructed so that the basket hangs out of the way leaving you with the a normal rear mount that could be used as a seat etc. (for light weight although it is strong enough to support at least 180lbs without any sign of buckling at all which is great.)To fix the basket so that it can be deconstructed to hang symmetrically to clear your rear tire you have to remove one of the smaller sides (front or back), luckily if you have Allen keys which all cyclists should have you can remove the orange solid hinge to end of with an L and a 7 with the clipping hinges on the respective ends so when the basket is dissembled the sides can unlatch, the front swings around one side, the rear swings around the back side on their solid fixed hinges.The materials used for the non solid hinges is the same that’s used for the clips which is a really strong looks like ABS but attaching and detaching it requires a lot of force to clip in to the point where the clip looks like they will wear out but hopefully they’re just wearing in, you can see a white band where the hooked removable hinge that has to flex to clip seems to be stressing, but it DOES come with a spare clip–specifically the clip and not the hinge so it seems like they did anticipate that a clipping hinge might break at some point and you can replace it one time. From then on I guess you can just use a bungee to keep the basket in form.I wish it came with a specialized bungee that would hold the basket togerher so it can be easily used to secure other things too. I e. One of those shower cap type bungees that can be used to line the bottom so stuff doesn’t fall out of the basket, or can be used over the top to consolidate and bungee things down.Improvements in the next version would to make it 5 stars would be:Install the hinges as a 7 and an L so they can be folded and fall to the sides symmetrically, having 3 fixed hinged on one side and one side is oddly asymmetrical and it causes weird noises and doesn’t closed flush no matter what you do, after reconfiguring it to have their fixed hinges as a 7 and an L allows it to be not exactly symmetrical but effectively symmetrical since the front and back can be swung inward or outward and fold to both swing down flat.2. Include a shower cap type bungee bag so that the basket can be quickly assembled by connected the top rim together while covering all the holes in the case so that small items can be placed in the basket and not fall through the caged bar basket. The same bungee with fabric can also be used as a tarp to cover the top so that you can stack things that would otherwise fall out of the top of the basket.3. Have the clipping mechanisms spring loaded and not just reliant on the flexing of the plastic hooks which though they seem rugged, they seem to have a life span before they become brittle and break BUT this kit does come with ONE extra spare hook which seems to solve the problem for the time if/when one of the clips do stress enough to break.

Works perfectly for our needs
We live almost a mile from my son’s school. We just miss the school bus boundary by half a block so he doesn’t qualify for the bus. He and his friend ride their bikes to school most days. He was having trouble riding though because their backpacks are so heavy. (Pretty sure their school district chose the heaviest laptops available.) His friend has a rack on the back of his bike but his backpack isn’t super secure and has fallen off. I went searching for a basket for my son and found this one. He loves it. His backpack and lunch box fit right in, sometimes with a bit of shimmying depending on what he has that day, and then he puts the strap around the top of it to secure it in. He keeps the rain cover in the bottom of the basket in case he needs it. It installed very easy onto his bike. I only had to adjust it once, but that was due to me not securing it correctly when installing it. I am really glad I found this!

Fragile, not great quality
I should preface this by saying that of course it’s not going to be perfect, since it was designed to fit a lot of different bicycles. However, it was difficult to set up the basket, and I gave up at one point and just used tape because the socket was too small to attach the panels for the basket. The attachment arms on the bottom also kept coming loose because the rubber thingamajiggy fell out. I also think that a few screws were missing, and other screws that were not listed and had no place were also in the package. It worked fine for storage after I taped it up. Some of the missing screws were to hold the backet to the rack. One screw that was there just didn’t fit, and the other two constantly shook themselves apart on the road and I had to screw thm back in after every single ride. Then one day, it spilled my laptop bag and all of the contents onto the road while car traffic was moving at 35 mph and above. The corner that I taped together held up. The other corner across from it did not.If you have no further options, it’ll be good enough for basic trips (light groceries, carrying a book bag), but I would not get this rack and basket. It’ll fall apart in a few months, assuming that you had the screws to put it together in the first place.

Very sturdy, but lacking some features
The manual is not very detailed, so it took a lot of trial and error to actually get this put together. Once I figured it out, I was very impressed with the sturdiness.One of the main reasons I chose this product is that the basket folds down. However, it turns out this feature is not implemented in such a way as to be very useful. First, the latch mechanism for the basket sides is very difficult to operate. It requires a lot of force to open or close. There is also no way to secure the sides, so they flap around when down and rub on the wheel.The quick-release mechanisms for the actual attachment to the frame somewhat mitigate the issue, since when I don’t need it I can just take it off instead. However, the side clamps are much larger than my chainstays so I had to use a lot of the pads to attach it, and they fall out during removal. I plan to 3d print something that can be permanently attached to either the clamp or the chainstay, so then I do not need to worry about losing those pads.
