Fantastic product that sets itself out from the crowd
There are a bunch of cheap phone mounts but this one stands out from them all. This one is made of aluminum with a nice gun metal gray finish. It’s a nice touch in my truck. For those of you that drive the new Silverado, you know it’s hard to find a good spot to put a phone mount as the dashboard doesn’t give many options to mount. Additionally, I’m not the kind of person that’s going to stick something directly to the leather dashboard. So the options were quite limited. I found this spot right on the grab handle to work out very well. It supports vertical and horizontal mounting very well. This phone mount is very nice. I highly recommend because it feels very sturdy and fits my truck aesthetic nicely. The 3M tape they give (with one additional just in case) seems to have a great adhesion and doesn’t seems like it’s going to fall off. The instructions were extremely clear. Overall I have to say 10/10 product.

Good underneath mount but plastic nut needs reinforcing.
I preferred to mount it underneath the screen so it wouldn’t interfere with my view of the road. The adhesive wasn’t holding well where I mounted it and needed rubber clamps to hold it in place til it set.The magnet is very strong and can easily dislodge the adhesive mount from the back of the screen.I’ve had this mount for over a year and the plastic nut finally broke and can’t hold up the iphone without it falling downward. This needs to be made of a better material than this broken plastic.

Great mount until it didn’t stick to the back of my screen anymore
I followed the installation instructions for this mount to a T in my Model 3 Tesla and got several months of usage out of this mount. It is a great mount and I like that I can quickly move it from a side mount to a top mount. The magnet works great with my Magsafe case and never had a problem removing or attaching it to the mount.One evening I noticed that my phone kept slowly rotating downward and was not staying in position. Eventually the whole mount fell off the back side of my Tesla screen and I realized the adhesive had come loose where the mount attaches to the screen. It was in the heat of summer so I’m not sure if that played a role in it or if my iPhone 14 Pro Max was too much weight for the adhesive. Either way, it wasn’t too convenient to lose my phone mount when I had a lot of driving left to do that evening.The kit does come with a 2nd adhesive. I just have not spent the time to remove the partial adhesive on the back of my screen and try to re-attach the mount using the replacement adhesive.I suspect the provided adhesive just isn’t sufficient for a larger phone like the Pro Max. It’s a shame as I did like the versatility of the mount but probably only got 2-3 good months of usage out of it before it failed me.

Acabo de instalar el ESR HaloLock en el salpicadero de mi coche y las primeras impresiones no pueden ser mejores.Nada más abrir la caja ya se percibe la calidad y la buena presentación.En cuanto a la construcción del producto se ve robusto en todos los aspectos; es de material plástico pero se percibe especialmente duradero.La fijación se consigue mediante una ventosa la cual contiene un adhesivo par ser fijado al salpicadero de o al parabrisas de ru vehículo.Señalar que el adhesivo de la ventosa permite que el artículo sea reposicionable, es decir, lo puedes quitar varias veces y, tras una limpieza del mismo, volver a fijarlo nuevamente y mantener su adherencia.Imagino que esto se irá deteriorando si se reposiciona muchas veces.Presenta 3 puntos de móviles, para conseguir ajustarlo a la posición deseada en cada caso.Por otro lado, el poder de sujeción del sistema MagSafe es impresionante. Cuesta incluso quitar el iPhone del soporte, por tanto, miedo ninguno a que tu iPhone se caiga del mismo con los movimientos del vehículo, por muy bruscos que estos sean. Lo he puesto a prueba y no hay manera de que el iPhone se caiga. En este aspecto; NO HE PROBADO OTRO IGUAL.Algo que tendré que valorar con el tiempo, es el poder de sujeción al salpicadero, y es que en mi caso, el salpicadero de mi vehículo es de una superficie rugosa, y en el anuncio especifica que esta superficie no es apta para este producto. De momento está perfecto y no se mueve lo más mínimo pero he preferido correr el riesgo puesto que en el parabrisas me parece demasiado invasivo para la visibilidad a la hora de conducir.Conclusión, recomiendo claramente su compra. Es un producto top que cumple sobradamente con lo que promete. Esperemos que con el paso del tiempo mi opinión no cambie al respecto.Ya he comprado varios productos de esta marca y no defrauda. Cualquiera de ellos cumple claramente las expectativas.
