Essential Standing Seam Tool
Installing my 1st stand seam roof. If youâre going to wrap the ends of your panels around the drip edge, this tool is essential. Iâve only used the one inch side of this tool. It makes perfect, controlled bends. Iâve dropped this tool a bunch of times from a saw horse down to the garage floor with no bent corners. This tool is well made. When I was shopping for a bending tool, there were lots of tools contractors used, online. Iâm really glad I picked this one. Tip: I also bought a Malco 6â wide hand seamer. High quality and essential, also.

Modified to Work for My Roofing
I purchased this to hem some 16 inch standing seam roofing for an awning I built. I could not find this tool in the correct width for my project so I bought this 18 inch one and cut it down to fit. It worked perfectly and cutting it down caused no issues with the tool. I would say 15-7/16 inches is about as narrow as you can go on this tool without cutting into the handle.

Easy to use, does the job pretty well.
I like the large easy to grab and leveraged handle. . . Sure, you can buy the little metal blade version for less than half the price, but there’s no handle, and leveraging the little blade is a little bit of a trick. . .Pay the extra buck, and don’t give yourself carpal tunnel . . .

Folded 24ga standing seam panels for weeks on end. Great tool

Works great for doing standing seams and bigger corner bends. My only issue is that I use 26g metal and the slot is a bit thicker so the 2 corners dont always fold perfectly on the line. Making me have to tap the corners in. Other than that great product. Handle makes it much easier on longer bends.
