Great biodegradable, natural option
These boar bristle toothbrushes are a great alternative to conventional plastic toothbrushes. They seem to clean my teeth just as well, if not better, than my previous toothbrushes and have a good feel to them. The hair is more coarse than you may be used to, especially if you use a soft brush out of necessity. I would not recommend it if that is a concern for you. I have not experienced any shedding with the hair and even after some firm tugging, it stays in place. For children who are used to having brushes where the bristles are closer to the edge of the toothbrush head, you may need to teach them to open their mouths wider as the bulk of the wooden brush means you need to work a little harder to get into areas in the molars. Overall, I think this is a great set of toothbrushes if you’re looking for a natural option.

My toddler approves!
Product comes with numerous toothbrushes so this will last my toddler for most of the year. The toothbrush is great quality as the bristles are nicely placed and soft I would estimate as the firmness level. The bamboo handles are sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.My toddler was very excited when we got these and is happy with using. These are larger than a traditional âkidsâ toothbrush, so adults could use, or would even be useful when traveling as they are on the smaller size. Overall great product and I would recommend.

Plastic free
This toothbrush is one of the few plastic free options I could find. It only works as well as a cheap normal toothbrush, but that is not an issue if you brush properly and floss.

Donât bother
Not worth the price tag. The bristles come out all over every time I brush. Should have read other reviews before buying. Was trying to find a natural fiber toothbrush but these are not the ones.

Not much good to say
To start with, at a price of $20, you can find far cheaper eco-friendly toothbrushes that are also more comfortable to use. My two main problems are with the high price, and the bristle quality. The bristles are firm and tough, more than the brushes I use. You can soak them in warm water to soften up, but you have to do this each time.Additionally, I had several bristles fall off while brushing, not a fun time. At the very least, they would probably be good for cleaning.

The bristles are quite firm but I think they are okay for kids. My grandchildren didn’t mind using them but I can only use soft bristles and I don’t like wood in my mouth. I really dislike wood eating utensils so these are not for me!I think I might be generous in giving them 3 stars. Move your finger along the bristles and look at the endless amount of dust that comes off in such a pervasively consistent amount it looks like smoke.

We know that plastic toothbrushes do not decompose (they make take over hundreds of years to do so) and if we change toothbrush every 3-4 months, the number of toothbrushes that end up in landfills is more than what we would like to see.This Gaia guy natural toothbrush is the start of our change in our mindset, as both the bamboo toothbrush and the boar bristles are 100% biodegradable.These kids toothbrush comes in a set of 6, packaged in a recyclable tubular box. The bristles are soft, and quite happy to replace my daughterâs plastic toothbrush.The feeling is a good one, as the bristles are not hard on her teeth, but nevertheless clean and massage the gums well.The brush has a smooth round handle suitable for small hands. Interestingly enough, my pre teenaged daughter is way more environmentally conscious than most adults I know and has gladly embraced this kids toothbrush.

I love these toothbrushes! Great quality and my teeth feel nice and clean with them. I don’t find the bristles too rough like some of the reviews mention, and one or two bristles falling out really doesn’t matter to me knowing that I’m not brushing my teeth with plastic anymore. I would buy these again for sure.

I love that these toothbrushes are biodegradable. The handles are wood, and are smooth with no places to accidentally get splinters. The brush is soft for kids, which is great too. Comes in a nice little box and is perfectly sized for kids.
