This air fryer set is larger than the Ninja Crispi. Both glass bowls are the exact same dimensions except for the height.Large is 8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ x 4″ inside cooking – small is 2″, both including cooking racks.Ninja Crispi large is 8-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ x 3″ – small is 6-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ inside cooking both including racks. What set them apart is the height and larger smaller bowl. Taller is better.Unit uses a 3-prong plug, runs very quiet. No light, multi coil heating element with a stainless splatter screen which is attached with screws if needed to be removed for cleaning.Modes – scroll to select which one needed, then select + to adjust time, then select the start button. You can ADD more time during the cooking session if needed. When time is done the dinger is very light. I suggest using an additional timer buzzer that is louder. Unit will not stop/turn off, unless UNPLUGGED.I tested 2 of the presets without cooking any food with my oven thermometer.Roast 355 degrees / after 50 minutes it only reached 340 degrees.Broil 365 degrees / after being pre warmed from roast test / after 30 more minutes only reached 350 degrees.Conclusion it is off 15 degrees which isn’t too bad. However, 350 max isn’t enough for most cooking needs especially frozen foods.There is no way to manually set a temp, the instruction book lists all the preset cooking temps along with which food to use for each.Very easy to clean, and there is an oval PLUG under the basket to open up to drain any excess water if needed. Just like with the Ninja, the plastic base is not removable.Perfect for me would be a bigger basket, more watts to increase the cooking temps, removeable plastic holders.I do like the cooking top element fits the top of the glass with ease, without needing an extra ring because both glass containers are the same width/length.Quality appears to be well made. Not sure if the glass is borosilicate or not. Rack is OK, not sure if it is ceramic. No where could I find that information. When testing, there was not any plastic or off gas smells of any kind. Very clean!If the temps meet your needs, I can definitely recommend this air fryer. Price is a good value!

I got this for my daughter who travels a lot for work and stays in a hotel for a month at a time. This way she can make a home cooked meal. She said it’s easy to use. Quick to make and easy clean up.

The glass base would make this air fryer a 5 if Ninja Crispi didn’t exist.
Compared to a non-glass base air fryer, most of the competition, this air fryer is a 5. However, I also have a Ninja Crispi and it’s worth what would have been $40 more to get. I bought this on Prime Day lured in by the price. Both brands do the job, they make tasty crispy treats. Both brands have glass bases that clean easily in the dishwasher – hallelujah. Both brands also provide lids for each base.First, focusing only on this air fryer: This air fryer comes with a 2.5 Qt and 4 Qt base. Both bases have the same foot print. One is just deeper than the other. To let air flow through you generally need to avoid layering so the additional height just means you can cook taller things but not necessarily more things. The glass bases and grill can easily be cleaned. The glass bases have a nice little ledge to set the grill on, that’s my one favorite thing about it compared to the Ninja Crispi. I also like that you can remove the top to flip while cooking and it automatically pauses. When you put the lid back on it starts where you left off.Why I’d pay more to get the Ninja Crispi: This air fryer has idiotic cooking presets. How do I know what roast vs deep roast is? Why is Roast a higher temperature than deep roast? And why are they only 5 degrees different. Recipes layout cook temperature, not random definitions of cooking times/temperatures. You have to look at the manual to find the preset temperatures and cook times. Please see the picture I provided to see what I’m talking about. The choices they provide aren’t much different. Ie two or three modes have the same cook time of 15 minutes as a preset. And the preset temperatures are hardly different ie 350 vs 355 vs 365. The Ninja goes to at least 400 and it SHOWS you the temperature instead of making you look in a manual that you wish you could throw out. You can stack the two bases with their tops on but they don’t nest.The Ninja is more compact as it’s 6 cup and 4Qt dishes nest. The 6 cup is perfect for one person and the 4Qt good for two people or provides a wider cook area and taller height. I like the two size options of the Ninja. They offer an extra 2.5Qt dish on their website or it can be ordered separately. I decided I don’t need it and it would make storage less compact.If cost is what matters to you most and you don’t mind illogical presets, get this air fryer. It does cook nicely. But if you have a flexible budget, spend the extra money on the Ninja instead. Both brands offer quality construction.To put it in perspective, the Kismet air fryer is like buying an IBM Clone PC while the Ninja is the iMac. They both do the same thing but one is a pleasure to use while the other is not.
