Exactly what I was looking for
My large trash can started smelling after my baby started eating solids and we needed to discard much more food than we typically did before. This compost bin has been great for us. It’s big enough that it only needs to be empties twice a week. As a bonus it comes with about 30 composting bags (which are much better than any other composting bags we have used).The only changes I would make this product would be the addition of a handle so we can easily transport it around the house and a a button that controls the opening and closing of the lid.

Too small and poor lid design
I love the look of it on my counter. But itâs way too small. We empty it daily. And ⦠the lid doesnât stay up when you add things to it.For a 5 star review it needs (1) a lid that will stay open when adding items to it, and (2) a larger size option.

Broke after about a month (two of them!). Quality issue.
Unfortunately the end of the lid hinge broke off so the lid doesnât stay in place anymore. The second one also broke.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Biomüll-Sammler. Da ich viel Gemüse verwende erleichtert das Teil die Entsorgung der Abfälle enorm, da es auf der Arbeitsfläche stehen kann und dort auch gut aussieht. Der Deckel hält gut offen und ist mit einer Hand zu öffnen. Der herausnehmbare Innenbehälter ist sehr schön glatt, sodass eine Reinigung ganz einfacht geht.Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: die 3 mitgelieferten Müllbeutel sind zu klein und gehen beim Einsetzen kaputt. Ich nehme andere.

We already had a compost bin but this one is twice the size and because of the stainless steel facade, it is very presentable in the kitchen. The insert comes off separately so we can easily empty the bin into the wheely bin. Love it.
