Good for the enviroment, but at what cost??
These bags are very nice.I bought them because they are bi-degradable. But to be practical, unless your rich, no ones buying these. Very pricey!! I probably won’t buy again. It cost way too much.

Strong enough to hold plenty of trash
This is the strongest compostable trash bag that Iâve found. I donât put wet trash in the bag as a rule but even if there are wet items itâs still strong enough to make it to the city trash tote without falling apart.

Best biodegradable kitchen trash bags I’ve found.
Update 4/3/25: WARNING – Vendor sells two types of bags. Dropped one star because I thought I was getting a deal on bulk but realized that the bags are slightly smaller and NOT 1.3mil thick. I still have to double the 1.3mil bags for normal trash use, but the new bags are smaller, barely fit my can and less than 1mil thick. Tripling them up is not enough, plus they are smaller and barely fit in my Simple Human trash can. The bulk bags are useless. I still love the thicker bags and really appreciate the biodegradability of this product, but be careful which bags you have in your cart and if you want anything close to durability, make sure the bags you select specify 1.3mil thick.In the future this review may no longer be true, but after trying to find effective biodegradable bags for use in our kitchen, these are the most reliable I’ve found to date. They are NOT as strong as plastic (hence the 3-star durability/sturdiness review), so I wouldn’t recommend over-loading them, but they will certainly handle most kitchen trash without too much trouble.

Do not use for heavy garbage!
These will be PERFECT for an office type environment or spot where just paper or lightweight items are tossed, not a home kitchen where heavy, wet, messy stuff lands. These bags will burst or tear and you will be unhappy.
