Customers say

Customers find the headset comfortable and appreciate its noise cancellation features. However, the sound quality receives mixed reviews, with some finding it nice while others say it’s not good. Moreover, the functionality and durability are concerning, with reports of the left headphone not working and the headset breaking after regular use. Additionally, the mic quality is negative, being glitchy and cutting in and out, and customers disagree on whether it’s worth the price.

  1. Upon insertion I felt the nibble of a squirrel.

    The best headset I’ve owned.
This is the best gaming headset that I have ever owned. I’ve owned two of this same exact model. I love that I can just flip up the mic to mute and pull it back down to unmute. It looks very sleek and modern with a sort of industrial vibe to it. Comfy padding. Great sound quality and nobody has ever complained about not being able to hear me. Solid 5 stars.

A lovely new welcome 2024 update
(Slight tldr pros and cons below) I’ve had the first gen since 2018 and when I saw the second gen I just had to get them and put old reliable in retirement. As of first getting the gen 2 and writing this review I have loved the 2 gen. Both comfortable and light as well as decent color selection but it’s easier if I do pros and consPros1. Super durable I have twisted them and put them to the test just like my first and still retained it’s shape and no signs of cracks anywhere2. Comfortability I have worn these headsets for hours on in and I can say for sure it feels like I’m not even wearing them but still feel really secure to my head3. Easy to clean (can’t say how easy since I have no need to clean them yet other than hair4. Price I mean you can’t beat a good durable headset for 40-60$5. Compatibility works great on my PC, Xbox and my switch but I hardly use headphones for the switch anywaysAnd now onto some cons1. The headphone jack (atleast for gen 1) is like playing Russian roulette could work up to a year or break next month most notably the audio slider could have it all the way up and only one ear has audio slightly bring it down and both work (recommend getting spare cords Amazon does sell them)2. Lack of options (more a personal attack) wish there were options for no mics or wireless since I use a different mic for talkingAnd lastly mixed opinion is the audio some say it’s best for single player. I play a lot of games that sound is key such as escape from Tarkov, day z and so on. I personally have not faced such an issue where this headset would struggle I could still pinpoint where gunfire and explosion happen no matter how chaotic with both gen 1 and 2As of now this is all I can think of I’ll update as I go on but for now I recommend this headset with a just the acceptation of being prepared to buy spare audio cables for the headset.Edit 5/1/24Wow almost two years and the headset is still going strong i have put ALOT of abuse on the headset so what are my thoughts on it now ?Well the audio slider has given out id say about 9 months in upon purchase but its minor being a small adjustment its working as intended, now onto the cleaning still just as easy just pull the ear muffs off and hand wash let it air dry and continue on. durability still on par as Gen 1 thanks to a nephew they can be thrown off the porch hitting objects such as cars and a tree and still work after plugging back in. Though have notice after some time it will hold what ever bend you put on it BUT it still will not crack or break so yea it was and still is worth every penny.

    Awful microphone
I purchased this headset because I owned the original version of the A10 for over 7 years and though it was time for an upgrade. If you are looking at this headset for this reason, DO NOT purchase it. Just stick with the old one. I returned this and bought the original version because it is so much better. When I first received the headset it was in fine condition. The headphones are extremely small but it worked okay for me because I have small ears, but they were still pretty uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time, which is not ideal considering these are gaming headphones.Within roughly 4 days the microphone became rather loose. It would only go all the way up into the muted position, or it would fall all the way down and it was no longer adjustable. From the moment I got it the microphone did not pick up all of my audio and cut out extremely often even when my audio input sensitivity was turned all the way up. Within 2 weeks, the microphone had come almost completely detached with light usage (maybe 4 times a week for 3 to 4 hours at a time). I would NOT recommend buying this headset given the quality of the microphone, audio, and fit of the headphones. The only positive thing I have to say about this headset is that it comes with a shorter cord, and I enjoy the array of colors.

    Reliable (1 year update)
After almost a year of using these headphone I’ve found a few problems (which is expected for the price) but these are still pretty good.1.) these headphone sound really well as a perfect mix between a casual and competitive gamer these headphone are good. They have really good directional sound they can get pretty loud and have some decent bass my only problem (which might have been a problem with my controller) the headset cord would come out very easy and would cause static to go through the mic it. To be fair that might have happened from my misuse of the headset but keep that in mind2.) the mic is pretty decent while it isn’t the best mic I’ve used it’s clear and transparent it doesn’t grab to much background noise and is pretty adjustable so you can move it to the spot you want my only complaint is after a year of using it (again this might be a problem with my controller or from my mistreat of the headset) the mic would randomly cut out and I’d have to unplug it and plug it back in before it started to work againIn conclusion it’s a really good headset while there is much better ones out there for this price there isn’t really much better options the big thing though is if you’re willing to spend an extra $50 get a wireless headset once you go wireless you really can’t go back it’s so much more convenient and efficient to just have a wireless headset but that’s a topic for another dayTLDR these headphones are good for the price and if you are trying to get a gift for a gamer you know or if you’re a casual gamer yourself and just want a good headset this is here and will get you what you need
