Works Great
I have had this installed for almost a year and it is still working perfectly. It was easy to install and set up and the app is really user friendly. I like that I can go in and out without a physical key and that I can also control it from anywhere through my phone.

Next Lock and technician Helen are terrific!
Absolutely excellent lock, and best of all the best service I have ever had with any company ever. In particular Helen the technician was terrific. She video called me on WhatsApp and walked me through ever detail of setting up back the lock in February when I purchased it. Everything worked great for 7 months until my computer crashed. I called for help to set the Gateway 2 back up on the new computer. They called me back rather quickly. I asked for Helen and she called me within 10-minutes on a video call with WhatsApp and helped me again.Why can’t all companies operate like this? I highly, recommend Next Lock!

This is my third one and itâs not working
I enjoyed the lock at first. The first one they sent was used and didnât work properly. The second one lasted a few month then malfunctioned. Now the company sent a replacement and itâs not working. Itâs easy to put together but itâs not lasting long.

To all those interested in an honest review, here it is: the installation and instructions of this lock are clean and pretty simple. If the holes in your doors prematch, you should be done in a few minutes.The users are easy do set up and it is convenient to use. Unfortunately, the electrical part of our new lock stopped working after about a month, with no explanation or reason. The keys (manual part) still worked but hey,whatâs the purpose of having a smart lock if you canât use the âsmartâ part of it?Reaching out to their customer service, they were very prompt in diagnosing the issue (based on a video I sent) and send a replacement right away. The companyâs representative followed up to be sure the new lock is up to par.Nevertheless, know this is a decent lock for the money but the customer service is available should you encounter any issues with your product.Stay safe out there!

Unfortunately……. This item lacks wifi capabilities with buying SOMETHING ELSE. This is a sad old people company type practice. Other than that…. great looking and works great

Finally, we are very happy with Smonet smart lock purchase !!We were originally planning to buy Yale, but went with a friendâs recommendation based on their positive experience.When our lock was installed, it worked fine for some time, but then we were no longer able to pair our phones with the Smart lock and were not able to use any features , we were able to use the key though.Reached out to customer service , they were very prompt in diagnosing the issue when I did a video call to show them the issue. They shipped a replacement lock, which worked like magic , the representative also sent a video on how to install / troubleshoot and also followed up later to check everything is working well, the quality of care we received was outstanding!!!Being able to lock/ unlock multiple ways ( through app / fingerprint scanner / key ) is great !!

Very happy with the product so far
I’m very happy with this lock so far. It was easy to install and it seems to be of very good quality. The fingerprint system works great so far and allows for easy access, so does the codes and I like having the option to still use keys if needed. The vendor was great following up on the sale and offering additional instructions on how to install the lock even before I had received it. They also made sure that was I please with the purchase which I was. Unfortunately, the only thing that did not work for me was the handle, because the existing holes on my door where further apart than the holes required for this specific handle so I recommend checking the distance before purchasing, but I’m very happy with the lock otherwise and the vendor was able to assist me with the issue as well.
