My favorite car wash soap by far
I was a bit skeptical about an all-in-one ‘ceramic’ wash, but this stuff really works. I have a 2015 Black F150 and keeping it clean is a chore. This Armor All Ceramic Car Wash suds up really well and easily lifts away dirt and grime without much effort. The real magic is after you rinse. The water immediately starts beading up, and it leaves behind a smooth, slick finish that you can feel. It’s not a replacement for a professional ceramic coating, but it’s perfect for maintaining the protection and keeping your car looking freshly waxed. A little goes a long way, too, so the bottle will last for a while.””If you’re looking for a simple way to get some ceramic protection without a ton of extra steps, this is it. This Armor All Ceramic Car Wash is as easy to use as any other car soap, but the results are a step above. I just use a foam cannon, which produces nice thick foam and a car mop, and after I’m done washing, the paint feels incredibly smooth and the water just flies off the surface. You will either love or hate this soapâ¦
Iâll say it here first â This soap is very unforgiving. Its kryptonite is a hot surface. You need to be in the shade, the paint surface needs to be cool, and you cannot let it dry prior to rinsing. Going against ANY of the above factors will turn your washing experience into an absolute angry, zero-star, streaking nightmare. Again, avoid this soap if you must wash in the heat/overhead sun.*However* if you can wash within those constraints then the results will be incomparable (5-star plus).For bucket washes, I used 1 ounce of soap per gallon of water. At this concentration, the lubricity is pretty good. Wash pads easily glide over the paint surface but there is a clear difference between this and top-tier slick soaps such as CarPro Reset and P&S Pearl. Typical of âwash and waxâ soaps, the cleaning power is average and suds are quick to generate but just as quick to disappear – the soap should only be used for light dirt/maintenance washes.The post-wash appearance and protection is where this soap really shines. It leaves a substantial layer of ceramic protection behind when rinsed â more so than any other soap that I have used (and I have used a lot). The post-wash beading is very dramatic, and the paint is highly reflective. Itâs as if you just waxed the car. In terms of durability, I washed an uncovered, daily driver 3 months after using this soap and it was still beading strongly during the pre-rinse.In summary, this is a near-perfect soap *if* you avoid the heat. The substantial protection that it leaves behind is both a great blessing and a great curse. A hot surface will speed up drying and it will leave a streaky mess that will take multiple washes to get rid of. Wash quickly in the shade, promptly rinse before it dries, and you will be rewarded with a high level of shine and protection.

I’ve used this for the first time on a new car. Good foams. But leaves streaks and spots if not washed off immediately! These are not ordinary spots and streaks, they are hard to remove. I’ll won’t use this product again

Smells great and you donât need to use a ton. Works well with a foam gun but not necessary. The soap also leaves a coating for a couple weeks that helps keep water spots away and dirt off.

When it comes to ceramic car washes, its a great value for 128 oz. I love the smell and the foam quality is good. I’m not sure in what order to say this, but here it goes. It leaves an amazing shine, BUT I have to really wipe it down before it totally dries. As others have said on here, it leaves streaks that are easily noticeable in the sunlight. It’s not always easy to buff off with a towel, sometimes I really have to rub it hard. After that, it looks amazing and it does resist dirt and repeals water. Overall, I’m happy with it but I hate the streaking.
