Yes, eufyCam E40 can support Apple HomeKit when paired with HomeBase 2 or HomeBase S380. If using HomeBase 2, make sure you’re using firmware v3.3.6.9 or above.
Can MaxColor Vision work in total darkness?
In complete darkness (like indoor spaces, enclosed backyards, or low-light suburban areas), using an infrared light is advisable for enhanced clarity.
Does the system support 24/7 recording?
24/7 recording is supported in Direct Power Mode with a 5V/2A adapter and compatible cable (sold separately). When connected to a router, the camera requires a microSD card; with HomeBase 3, a hard drive must be installed in it.
How can I ensure accurate recording when someone passes by?
E40’s optimal detection angle is 15~20°. Additionally, please adjust the detection sensitivity and go to Motion Detection Settings > Motion Test Mode in the app to configure the best detection range.

Great cameras
Absolutely great!!! If you want a camera with no subscription & want to view live footage and look at past footage without paying this is the brand has been so reliable and easy to use. Easy to install and easy app. Love how clear it is and I can hear sound and has a light & alarm if wanting to arm. I also love how it comes with the homer base so you can get more cameras if need.

Better thank blink cameras
Used to have blink but was sick of subscriptions. These cameras are so much better! The picture quality is so much better. The zoom feature doesnât make the photo all pixeled looking. It does better with picking up movement too. In the two months we have never had connectivity issues. App is relatively easy to navigate. Setup was super simple. The bright light isnât as much as I was expecting but it might be enough to scare someone off

these cameras are amazing for nighttime. The video is very clear and bright. May only con is you cannot adjust the camera angle with your phone. it was very easy to connect to my homebase, and it is connected to a solar panel, which works very well.

Impressive tech
I have a total of 21 Eufy cameras on our property. Wifi, indoor, 24/7, wired,doorbells,etc. We have security concerns and rely on them for monitoring 24hrs a day. This one I was curious about the full color night vision. I have the Starlight 4G cams and loved that feature. This takes that same tech and seems to elevate it. Very impressive. It takes nearby light and amplifies it and you end up with a nearly daytime looking scene at 2am. The only down side I’ve noticed is when there’s a car headlight, or motion lights come on. It’s then too bright and even washes out the image of the subject if the lights or motion lights are directly on the subject. It creates a white light that blinds this camera. This happened twice now. I’m still playing with and adjusting positions to mitigate the issue. So far I’m happy with this one and would recommend it.

worth the money
easy to set up batteries are charging just fine only complaint is that there is a long lag when talking to someone thru the cameras. So far that is my only complaint, night vision is top quality it is a little slow picking motion up if it comes in camera rage to fast but does eventually pick up movement. I think its worth the money so far.
