Love these containers! I use them for dog & cat food & kitty litter. The lid closes well and securely even after a year of use, and being jumped & sat on by several 12lb cats. The lid also stays open as needed when I’m scooping out of it, which has been an issue with other brands. They are easy to use, work well, and the wheels roll around well. They could use better reinforcement of the plastic around the wheels to keep it from breaking (I had one break after rolling over a raised wooden floor piece that separates my wood floor from tile).

Holds 40 pound bag with room to spare – Easily wheels around
The wheels come in a separate bag, and easily just slide into the holes on the bottom of the container. When I say “holes,” it’s a tunnel type hole that they insert into, that is an enclosed tunnel/hole. The lid comes separated from the container, too, but one side of it easily slides into one side of the container, to create a hinged side to the lid.Then the side that opens, has a latch that closes the top securely.The wheels work great. I have a very tiny kitchen space, and I need to be able to move this bin around a lot, every day to get in and out of the space it’s in, and to be able to open a cupboard that’s next to it. It wheels around very easily.I put a new 40 pound bag of Kirkland brand Healthy Weight dog food into it, and then added about 4 pounds of Science Diet to it and mixed that into the top few inches (changing the dog’s dog food). Even after there was about 44 pounds of food in the container, there is still about 3 1/2″ left at the top. So, I’m betting you could get 50 pounds of kibble in this container.I took the food out of the bag and put it straight into the container.. I considered putting the whole bag into it, but it didn’t look like it would fit, and I thought it would look nicer with just the dog food in it, too. It’s right in my kitchen, so I wanted something that wouldn’t look too tacky.The construction looks fine to me. I don’t have any kids that will climb on it or anything, so I expect it to last a long time. When it wears out, I’d buy another, mainly for the fact that it wheels around so easily, and it easily holds the dog food I buy at Costco with a little room to spare, so when I go buy a new bag, it will fit with what’s left in the bin. Suits my purposes to a tee.

5-Star with Caveats
1) Looks as pictured. Nice looking. Might fit under the sink in some cabinets, as stated, but not mine, and not any with undermount or farmhouse sinks… Especially with the wheels in place.2) The info says it holds 51 pounds of cat food. The label on the container says 50.5 pounds of Kibble. That will vary. Mine holds EXACTLY 44 pounds of Purina Natural… That’s important because their 13 & 18 pound bags look identical, so two of the 13 and one of the 18 will just fit, but mistakenly grab two of the 18’s and you’re stuck with holding onto that open bag. It’s a silly small detail, until it happens to you… And you did just buy a bin for the food to avoid having open bags laying around, especially in rural areas where insects are a real nuisance as they search for anything edible.3) The wheels have been knocked in many reviews. They seem fairly standard. You should be able to find replacements, perhaps better ones if you prefer. My thoughts are that they seem reasonably decent BUT the design flaw that can lead to excess odd torque is in the female insert channel, in my opinion. I say that because the “stop” flange on the wheel posts can’t fit completely flush to the bin. The female channels are in the corners, but oddly, they don’t extend fully to the same height of the base’s edge. The edge extends beyond the bottom of the bin… So when you insert the wheel post, part of the flange is flush to the outer rim, but has a gap between the end of the female channel and the flange-stop. In my mind, when people talk about wheels breaking with a short drop, I attribute that to the failure to achieve a completely flush fit between the base and the flange. My suggestion to those with concerns is to carefully cut the plastic edge right beside the flange and across at the level of the female channel… This should create an entirely flat face so the entire flange is completely flush to the bin, for the most stability. Eliminating any wobble might help avoid damage to the wheels from dropping the bin a couple of inches, when it’s full and being removed from a base cabinet, to the floor.Those are my personal caveats to giving my rating, based on my observations and considering the negative reviews.It’s a great looking tan-top, clear bin with black rolling, swivel casters.It’s easy to lift, as designed with grips.Closes nice and snug, with a snap upon closure.Rolls extremely easily.Cat & pest proof.Excellent value & price.Considering all sizes, designs and prices, this was the best option on Amazon and would’ve been my choice in any pet store, had it been this affordably priced.

Realmente es un muy bien contenedor. Es macizo pero liviano, las ruedas funcionan muy bien, realmente cierra herméticamente y guarda la frescura de la comida. Tiene muy marcado el olor a plástico cuando llega, así que lo tuve que dejar abierto un par de días y con eso fue suficiente para que se quitara. El único pero que le pongo es que yo compro bolsa de 25 kilos para mis perros, y no cabe completa en el contenedor, asumo que por el volumen particular de la marca. Le compre uno igual a mi madre, y ella también guarda ahí su bolsa de 22 kilos y medio de otra marca, y esa si cabe completa.
