Great product, be careful of Amazon delivery services
Iâm generally very pleased with the NordicTrack T5 and I give it 5 stars as a product.I love the incline feature and that the speed can go up to 10, giving me a good range for my workouts from such a compact machine. I was not expecting something as well build and powerful at this price point and size.I read that the belt can be loud for the machine size but i didnât find that to be the case. Iâm working out in the basement and my husband cannot hear it from upstairs. If I have music on I donât hear anything. It sounds like a regular full size treadmill.The buttons are a bit tricky at first due to their minimalist design, but once you get the hang of it, itâs easy to track what you need (speed, length of workout etc) Im still getting used to holding down the speed buttons, it seems to jump in increments of 0.5 if I am not careful, which can be a bit annoying, but Iâm adjusting to it by learning the right pressure and timing. I canât really tell if the problem is me or the machine on that one. There is also a second way to change speeds when using the Ifit workout app, and Iâm finding I like to use that more anyways.The iFit connectivity is a nice touchâwith the subscription it automatically adjusts the speed and incline based on the program, which adds a lot of value to my workouts. It is so responsive and that it changes the speed and incline on my tablet in real time- no lag. I am going to look into my health insurance paying for the subscription because it was fun to have a trainer that I felt like I was engaging with. I got to work out in Croatia, Bosnia, Florence, and Utah so far!Assembly was surprisingly easy, my husband and I brought it to the basement and put it together in less than 2 hours. His main remark was how well the treadmill was packaged (which is important because of the shipping issues we had from Amazon- see below). The machine was very snuggly placed in the box with pressed wood supports and large hefty styrofoam pieces. It was also wrapped in plastic. The instructions were straightforward and there is not a ton of things needed for assembly. The items we needed for assembly were all in a yellow cardboard âsheetâ covered in plastic and numbered according to step. We found watching the videos on how to assemble the treadmill especially helpful. Nordic track has some and so do third parties on YouTube.My only major complaint is about Amazon and not Nordic track. I wasnât thrilled with Amazon’s delivery service which was called CEVA logistics. I got an automated call from an area code 855 to confirm a date and time for delivery (12/16). I organized with my husband for him to be home to receive the delivery. However, it arrived early (12/9) and wasnât delivered properly; the delivery driver called me from his cell (which was uncomfortable) and acted like it was my fault that I wasnât home to receive it even though I told him I coordinated with the logistics company for a different date . I asked him to put it under the porch so it was covered. He left it half off the porch exposed to rain in the middle of my sidewalk on the pallet (which now I need to dispose of). Thankfully the machine wasnât damaged when we opened it, but I contacted Amazon right away and they recognized this incident as a problem and made it right for us. While I donât know how we could have avoided this we took pictures and contacted Amazon, and I suggest if you have issues you do the same.Overall, Iâm happy with the treadmill, but the delivery could definitely be improved.

Works well and has been a good entry level treadmill
After having this treadmill for 8 months and using it multiple times a week, this treadmill has been exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a basic, reliable treadmill that would support regular use as I worked to improve my cardio this year.⢠Setup was relatively easy. I completed about 95% of assembly by myself. While I probably could have handled the entire assembly by myself, I did ask for help when installing the crossbar/handles.⢠I’m 5’11 and 225 lbs. I needed a treadmill that would support my height (long legs) and weight and with this treadmill, I’ve never felt like I had to shorten my strides or anything like that. And my dad, who is 6’1 and 270 lbs has been able to use it as well.⢠I’m located in Southern California and I keep the treadmill in the garage. So far, I have had no issues with keeping it in there. I believe keeping it in the garage can void the warranty, but honestly, I usually don’t care about warranties and they don’t factor into my purchase decision. And for the price of this treadmill, I’m fortunate enough that I’d be able to buy another should the worst happen and it stops working.⢠I am not a fast runner by any means and I hate inclines, so the 10mph and 10% maximum limits work perfectly fine for me. I’m nowhere close to getting towards those maximum limits.⢠This treadmill is designed to work with iFit. I did try a few classes with the free trial and while it was nice to have the program automatically adjust the treadmills, I just couldn’t get into the classes the way I have with Peloton. I do have a Peloton subscription that I primarily used for cycling classes and now I use the app for treadmill classes as well. I do wish this treadmill had the control knobs for speed/incline as it would help a lot with the Peloton classes, especially if doing intervals. But I’ve been able to make do without them.⢠Overall, for the price of this treadmill, I cannot complain. I’ve been very happy with the purchase so far!

Good basic treadmill for runners
Purchased the T5 treadmill 3 months ago to replace my previous treadmill which was 33 years old, and had been through 4 relocations across the US. What a champ. I am generally easy on my gear and my things last as I take care of them, even though I use my treadmill frequently as I run and train 5-6 days a week for running and multisport events. I found this one to be a good price and had incline and the speed features I wanted. Setup was easy, I did it myself and while the machine is heavy it was well packed and I had no problems by myself. Running on the machine is solid, and it does have a rack feature to hold a phone or tablet securely- and it works. The rack itself isnât grounded directly to the floor, so your water bottle and anything else you put in the rack compartments will bounce around. I had a drum sound coming from the belt that while customer service wasnât able to solve, they were responsive and it doesnât affect the performance of the treadmill and it canât be heard or felt while using it. There are videos to assist with belt tightening and maintenance so itâs easy to maintain if needed. Itâs a basic machine so if you need additional features then look at other Nordictrack units. Iâm looking for many years of service from this machine.

Nice treadmill – not foldable
The treadmill is very sturdy and works great! Installation was pretty simple and easy directions to follow. Our only complaint is that in looking at the images before buying, it shows that the treadmill can fold up, which is one of the reasons we bought this model. Upon receiving it and putting it together, we realized that this model does not fold up like one of the pictures show. We were pretty disappointed by the false advertising, as the folding feature was one of the main reasons we chose this model.

Excelente producto. Yo tenÃa una caminadora profesional a la cual se le quemó el motor. La caminadora original era de 1.5 HP, pero esta es de 3 HP. La caminadora no solamente es más potente, sino también más grandes en dimensiones, lo cual la hace más cómoda (ancho y largo de la banda). La caminadora original me duró aproximadamente 10 años (sin mantenimiento), por lo que no dudo que el tiempo de vida de esta será igual o mayor.

Itâs better than expected and itâs built super sturdy. Iâm 6â2 and just under 260 lbs and it does everything that I need when it comes to sturdiness, tread size and functionality.The only down side is that you have to download an App and jump through a couple hoops in order to get it started, but once you get it started itâs easy to use and a solid buy. Also, delivery was a couple days late but given the world climate right now combined with the size, I wasnât surprised.Prior to ordering on Amazon I had tried to order a treadmill straight from Horizon Fitness after lengthy research, but after the transaction was approved, a month later I was notified that they didnât deliver to my location in the city, and Iâm not sure if that was the actual reason given the high demand for home exercise equipment. That being said, when I searched on Amazon for a treadmill almost everything was âout of stockâ, and with me being a bigger dude, I needed one that had the necessary specs to handle my size in order to get a good sweat on. So after further research on manufacturers and specs, I was lucky to find this unit that satisfied all my requirements/needs with only â2 left in stockâ at a reasonable price, and it was delivered straight to my door and Iâm super happy with it.With all that is happening in this upside down world right now, I recognize the need to support local business but in some circumstances that is extremely difficult, and say what you will about Amazon and their success during these trying times. In my experience, with an increase in online purchases, Amazon has in place the capacity, inventory and capabilities to deliver when needed. I know that there is much controversy surrounding Amazon with their employee practices and their social, environmental and political impacts as well, but given the current world climate Amazon has continued to deliver consumer goods and necessities in a timely fashion in order to provide some semblance of normalcy during these trying times and I can respect that. That being said, I also believe that Amazon has the ability, the resources and the social responsibility to do more to help their hard working employees and their worldwide community of consumers/supporters as many local businesses that support their communities are currently struggling to stay alive while Amazon thrives.In conclusion, you can tell that I have some extra time on my hands given the length of this review, and with the current world climate, home exercise equipment is as, if not more popular during a pandemic than toilet paper. If youâre lucky enough to be able to get one of these units given the current supply and demand… enjoy! Moreover, if youâve read this far into this review, to quote the legendary Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod, âstay fit and stay safe!â

The only negative experience with this treadmill was it being dropped off the back of a truck upside down, late, in the middle of our driveway. Since I was alone, all 130lbs of me had to move it. It’s heavy. Which is a positive. Just be ready for the dump LOL Unpackaging it in our drive way my 59yr old husband and 58yr old me (who to be honest are pretty fit) were able to move it in pieces although the base was a struggle. This treadmill is quiet. Maybe the version we have but manual is not a mystery to use. Starting it first time was not a challenge without iFit. We purchased the 10″ screen which is a nice size. Audio is great we have no problems with quality. Any issues with streaming has been our own with our wifi and not the machine. It changes nicely between speeds and seems accurate when checking it against an Apple watch I was wearing.100% recommend.
