A solid source for understanding the vital aspects for bow making success
Having a history with selfbows that goes back to the first part of the seventies, I found this book to be a wonderful guide to the basics of how construction. It did require reading twice to ferret out the important concepts that can cause confusion and problems during the construction process. This aspect was vital for increasing success as an beginning bow maker. I am very pleased that I have it as a resource!

Great read!
I shot a bow on my younger years and this book brought back memories of my Paul Bunion 50# fiberglass 1/4 recurve bow I used in my teen years.

A very useful book with a lot practical advice.
Great step by step guide with many tips for how to do things plus what to look out for and avoid (i.e. ending up with 120 pound draw weight). Clearly written and easy to understand. Good photos.

Good information.
A short book but it fills in some info on the ASL that is very helpful. It might not be enough on its own but I recommend it.

Laminated bows
This was a very good book on the proper way to learn how to construct a laminated boy . I would recommend this to anyone who wants to know the basics before they actually start.

Good short read that answered all my questions I had floating around in my head about building glass bows. The author is very to-the-point and leaves out a lot of unnecessary fluff that can easily be answered with a simple google search or by following the links and recommendations available in this book. I now have the confidence to jump right into my first glass bow build without having to scratch my head and figure things out along the way.
