    NO MORE KEYS!!!
Best lock I have ever purchased. Wish I did this a long time ago. So easy to install and set up. The best part is you can set it up to auto lock so when you leave your house just walk away and it locks itself! Technology today!

Nice lock, good z-wave, door-sense (open/close) does not work, AWFUL support.
This is a severe disappointment. As a lock it works great. As a Z-Wave interface it works great. It is easy to install and includes all the parts for any typical door. However, the door-sense that is included, that tells your smart home if the door is open, just does not work reliably.I have calibrated it dozens of times (which is what support says to do), it may work for a few days to a few weeks, then suddenly I start getting warnings my door is still open (or closed when it is actually open).I have worked numerous times with their support and they just repeat the same thing — send a picture of install (and I did, and they said it looked fine) and calibrate (many, many times). They finally stopped answering entirely, so I never got the opportunity to return it for one that might work. AWFUL customer service.I wish it worked — the basic physical hardware is great, and the z-wave module works very well. But without a reliable door sense it’s just so much garbage if you have an actual smart home.

    Yale Biometric Smart Lock
This lock with biometrics is glitchy. Doesn’t fully integrate with Ring for Arming/Disarming with code. Sometimes doesn’t work with codes registered in the Ring App. I tested it for install at a customers’ house and decided to go with a standard code lock instead. Went to return it, just purchased less than 6 weeks ago, but no longer eligible for return. Has potential but I would not recommend to buy it.

    Great ZWave/Fingerprint Lock
Bought several of these (fingerprint:ZWave no-key) to replace several 10 year old Schlage Camelot locks that were the older S0 or S1 protocol. They still worked great but were getting old from a tech standpoint, battery updates, etc. These newer S2 ZWave lock modules (you can put whatever modules you want in these which is a phenomenal design) and 1 leak detector were the last non-S2 in my home. For initial setup, you need the Yale Access app. After initial setup, all lock codes work in (for me) SmartThings. I get all the same features I’m used to with a ZWave lock. The one thing that tripped me up during initial setup was the fingerprint. You need to set people up in order, meaning, if you setup dad’s fingerprint, setup his code in SmartThings. Then setup mom’s fingerprint and code, and so on. The “slot” must match. Once this is done, you really don’t need the Yale Access app and you get all your lock/unlock/code management in SmartThings or wherever you manage your ZWave devices.Installation was easy and the no-key option looks great from the outside as it’s very low profile. So far, I would recommend these.

    Bought Used, Like New. Don’t.
Install was easy and simple. Fit right in to the space I had. Online instructions are unbelievably convoluted though, they’re mixed in with all kinds of old and new information without clarity. You just have to try try trial and error. After sorting it all out, I went to install to the app and what do I discover but that my lock is currently locked to someone else’s account and without direct communication with the former owner of the lock, all my work was for naught and I have to return the lock. That’s it, just wasted 3 hours of my day.

    Unmatched convenience
Love this product!Door unlocked as I walk up to it and automatically locks after 10 minutes. (both are programming options)Finger print biometric is great, and programmable code is also a good back up.This product is also keyed incase of a battery failure.I can unlock the door through HomeKit from anywhere, if necessary.Install was easy enough for a handy person.Took me a while to figure out some of the programming options, mainly how to program the code.Works great with Apple HomeKit which is the reason I chose this product to begin with.
