Smart Wi-Fi plug with physical battery operated wall switch. No electrical wiring required.
I wanted a smart plug that I could control with a switch. Makes it easier for family members when you have a physical wall switch. The wall switch runs off a battery and requires no electrical skill. I used the included app to control the plug. I then linked the app to Alexa as a âskillâ to have all my smart devices in one place. You can look that up. Itâs easy. So you can use the manufacturers app or control the plug using Alexa. Works fine. Well made. I primarily just run a routine for turning the plug off and on.

Exactly what I was looking for
I have a lamp that was previously connected to a wireless socket/switch setup similar to this one minus the wifi. I wanted to automate it so I tried a normal wifi socket with a wifi scene switch, the latency (5-10 seconds) made it unusable. I ended up spending twice what this product costs before finally deciding to try this one and it works perfectly. Physical switch with almost no delay and wifi connectivity for automation. Exactly what I wanted.If I had to nitpick, the process of removing the switch from it’s wall bracket isn’t very reassuring. You have to pry it out and it feels like it’s gonna break after a while. Would’ve been great if it was magnetic.

Exactly what I was looking for.
This worked exactly as I hoped it would. With a floor lamp plugged into it, I can control the light either with voice-control through Alexa, or use the paddle switch which is on the wall, like a normal switch. Easy to set up too.

Unreliable Product
Worked for less than a year. It still pairs with my phone/app but the remote control wall switch no longer works. Very disappointing for the price! I bought 2 – one is still working for now but I needed two!!Update: The company reached out to remedy the situation, offering to replace or refund my purchase. They did not ask for an updated review, but I think it’s fair to do so given their customer service. Still a bummer one of the two switches stopped working, but even good technology fails sometimes. I’m upgrading my review from 1 star to 4 starts because customer service was excellent.

Cheap, works with Alexa
I needed to control an outside light that is not hardwired to a switch, but instead uses an extension cord that plugs into an outside outlet. The problem was, various members of the household were having difficulty with turning the light back off. This device solved my issues! I plugged the outside light into this plug and then into another extension cord that plugs into the exterior outlet. Mounted the switch inside, and once connected to wi-fi, it worked perfect. The bonus is I can now add it to an Alexa routine. The routine says, “If the switch is powered on, start a timer of 5 minutes, then automatically power it off”. Problem SOLVED.

Fantastic!
The switch looks like a normal switch. The smart plug works great. I have mine on a timer everyday for my spot lighting on my taxidermy. This works great on the smart life app as well. I pretty much have my whole house on that app. I highly recommend and anticipate buying more of these.
