We love this kitchen compost bucket.
It is all metal, not plastic! And the lid is solid and firs tightly, eliminating fruit flies. It is surprisingly large and, for example: holds the husks of 8 to 9 large pomegranates. It is easy to wash out and its neutral color goes with any decor.

This is not air tight but that has been fine. Sometimes I donât empty it for a whole week and there isnât any smell emanating. Washes up well and doesnât take up too much space on the counter. Itâs a clean look.

Reliable and Easy to clean
Iâve purchased and have had this compost bin for more than a month and it still looks brand new. I do line the bin with a compost bag and I routinely throw out my compost every week. Itâs so super easy to clean and disinfect! I chose this bin specifically for it being stainless steel rather than a hard plastic. I think it also blocks out any smells pretty well when the lid is on.I like that the lining ring allows you to use a compost bag without it showing on the outside like other bins.All in all, the price and quality is ð¯

Nice item but a bit expensive
This is a good a size and is nice looking on the counter, but I think the price is too steep. I will keep it though.

Overall great value
I like that the lid has a tight grip when closed so the smells doesnât sip out. The little hook on the lid is a nice added feature. Wood handle feels solid, easy to carry. Easy to clean too. No more fruit flies. Worth it for us.

A perfect compost bucket
This is exactly what I was looking for. I just needed a metal bucket with a lid for composting, which was very hard to find. I found that charcoal filters that usually come with any compost buckets are unnecessary. Like some people said, it gets dirty and annoying. I don’t have any fruit flies. Maybe pest control service we get for outside works. All I need is a bucket. We just dump outside in a bigger composter.I finally found this one and was very excited. We got a silver one, so we don’t have any issues with some stickers that other people did not like.As for whether this is a German product or not, I can’t say anything. The brand sounds German, but it is definitely being marketed for Korean market. The leaflet that came with the product is in Korean, not Chinese like someone said in her review. Could be designed in Germany.The lid fits securely and I’d think it’ll keep fruit flies away even if I have them around.I just dump the content once full as I wrote above and that I don’t use inner bags, which means I don’t need those rings to secure bags. It’s nice that they give you two sizes.I don’t know about the durability. I hope it works and doesn’t get rusted quickly.

They call this a German brand, which is why I was willing to pay a bit more, but it showed up and all of the writing on the box and pamphlet were in Chinese⦠Iâm highly doubting that there is anything German about this âbrandâ.That being said, the bin seems good enough, other than the cheap sticker on it that needs to be removed with goo gone.I took the stars away due to the deceptive marketing consequential overpricing.

There is a very large branded sticker on this that is very difficult to remove. I have attempted using a hair driver, goo gone, and oxidizer. Very annoying. Over an hour and still residue remains. They ruined it. May be returning over it.
