Fantastic Lockâ¦â¦ Exceptional Customer Service
I wanted to upgrade our smart lock and this particular lock was in our top 5. What made us decide on this one was that it was all inclusive with the gateway and the reviews we read about their customer service.Right after I purchased, we received an email from the seller with pictures and videos to help with the install. Setting it up was fairly easy and the instructions were pretty clear to follow.So, once we had it installed we had a small issue (of course it wasnât the locks fault but ours). I reached out to their customer service and we worked with Eunice. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Really responsive to our questions and needs. We even did a video call to test our lock and resolve the issue. Now that we have it working properly we have had no issues whatsoever.We love the app, which is super user friendly. Keys work, works great with Alexa through the gateway, the little fobs are fantastic. Setting up fingerprints and codes is really easy through the app. The app also provides a log feature and youâre able to get all or some notifications.Overall excellent purchase!Donât hesitate to purchase this smart lock!

I honestly had never heard of this brand before but after trying the common brand names and finding out that this are very flaky, expensive, and run through batteries like they were free, and also stop working often, I decided to try this one.It worked great out of the box. Setup was very straight forward. The app is very easy to use and manage. My lock did so working after a few months, but the customer service is outstanding. Even had a video call with them. Great troubleshooting and they stand behind their product. Replaced it without having to jump through hoops. Thanks to Eunice with their customer service center, I am still a happy customer.

It looked great when first installed, but thatâs where the positives ended.From the start, the experience was frustratingâthe app is clunky and difficult to use, the control options are limited, and the voice assistant is not helpful. The smart lock feature completely failed after just three months, turning it into nothing more than an expensive traditional key lock.Then it got worse. A few months later, the mechanical lock and levers failed, leaving my family trapped inside our own home. We had to dismantle the lock just to escape.This lock is not just unreliableâitâs a safety hazard. Donât waste your money or risk your security. Look elsewhere.

decent lock
it is a great lock but it isnt the best, even for the moneys worth. Installation was pretty easy to do. there was a handle for the inside and the outside and a guide that helps you measure where to drill into the door. would have been great to have batteries included. the app part to get set up is a bit tricky to get it connected to the lock and once it is connected, there is steps to help set up the users and pins for each user.using the lock, it takes a bit to get the fingerprint reader to read each time that you unlock the door. there is a wifi square box that you can connect when you want to check on the door but i dont use it so not sure how reliable it is. it looks pretty sturdy as a lock and works well but it can also be better. probably less sturdy than those heavy ones in home depot but i hope it lasts a long time. it also comes with a set of keys and keycards but ive not used them yet.

I have been looking for a smart lock that didnât stand out . I found it !! Love how it looks while offering keyless entry ! My boyfriend installed it today and we were so pleased with how easy it was to set up finger print access and codes . We hand a little bit of difficulty setting up the app on his phone so we called customer service . Tara from customer service got back to us in a timely manner . She took the time to FaceTime us and guide us through the steps to get the app working . She was patient , knowledgeable and was happy to assist . Fantastic customer service !!

Easy to install and use!
The lock is made of high quality steel. Feel like elegant home accessory and 5 stars hotel lock…LOL.The seller has provided installation video for me to skip reading the manual for installation. You need to make sure your door is “left-hand” or “right-hand” when you install it. Meanwhile, you need to drill an additional hole as video showed. After installation, It is super easy to set up password. All you have to do is download the TTLock app and then sync up with the lock. It allows multiple pass keys or generate a random one time key for guest to use. Perfectly fit for the rental home or AirBnB. The app also allows you to unlock it with the app. If you want to access/control the lock remotely, you will need “gateway”. (you could find the info from Video if you are interested to have it)This lock also comes with a pair of physical key in the event the battery is dead, or you could use a 9V battery to temporary charge the lock. Overall I am satisfied with the lock. It matches with my current door handle well and much better than other expensive smart lock.Guest access features Most smart locks let you set up temporary keys for houseguests, which you can delete when theyâve returned home. Smarter systems even let you set time restrictions around when each access code can be used. For the price between 100-200, I fully recommend the hornbill Smart Lock.

So far we are pleased with the lock, it’s look, functions and the Gateway unit we purchased with it so we can use remote unlock and Alexa. Gateway working great. I was impressed that the kit came with a screw driver and even a drill bit.We had to drill our lock hole in the door bigger to 2 1/8″ diameter. No problem as I had the correct size hole saw. Since this unit is slimmer than our previous lock, I also had to repaint around the unit (inside and outside).The Gateway G2 unit uses thr TTLOCK app as well so you don’t need to install another app. Setup of the app and Gateway was pretty easy and so it working great. Aleax requires you to say a 4 digit pin to unlock the door (?) but locks it just by saying “Alexa, lock front door”.The door lock and app have lots of options and the ‘auto lock’ feature is nice as you can just close the door and it will auto lock thr door at your specified time period (30 seconds).

La seule critique à faire c’est pour les joints d’étanchéités qui sont plutôt étroits sur les rebords, ce qui rends l’installation plus compliqué car le joint a tendance a rester coincé sous le cadre de la serrure au lieu de l’enrober lorsque l’on serre les boulons de fixation.La programmation est très facile à faire avec l’application TTLock et la fonction de codes temporaires programmable avec un calendrier est idéale pour les locations d’un Airbnb.Un produit avec une très bonne qualité prix et une application très convivial. je le recommande fortement.

Note : 3/1/22 After contacting Hornbill I want to share my experience. My contact person was Annie and she was fantastic to deal with, she walked me thru several options to try and resolve the issue, when they did not work she immediately sent our a new lock which arrived 3 days later. Annie also followed up with me several times to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. (excellent customer service). We have not installed the new lock yet as we have had pretty cold weather. Again Annie assured me that if we had any issues to reach out to her.I was so excited to purchase this lock but since winter came it has been a nightmare. Iâve reached out to support for help and have not heard back.1st issue wouldnât lock exposed to winter conditions2nd had a continual beeping noise3rd has lost all power even after changing batteries twice.If anyone can help please let me know what to try next.

Worked great for a year, synced up well with the app and with Alexa through the gateway. Eventually it stopped locking with the keypad and shortly later stopped opening or closing with the keypad or app, only with the key. I contacted customer service and Catherine took me through the procedure to diagnose the problem. Eventually she determined that it couldnât be fixed and informed me that sheâd be sending me a new unit. Very good customer service. Iâll update the review when I receive ( or donât receive) the new lock.

I bought the lock and it functioned properly for 15-20 days after installation but later it lock was continuously giving beep sound and was unable to lock the door.. i was already out of return time as i was renovating. I contacted the email in the manual to inform to help me. I got response from them within 3 days and the representative from the manufacturer was so helpful she shipped a new lock with 1-2 days. The new lock was missing one part i emailed them again and Guess what she sent ms the missing part again in 1 day. Now my lock is functioning properly. I gave 5 star for the customer service from Annie (manufacturer)and prompt response and delivery.Thank you so much
