Sarah J. Maas’s CRESCENT CITY series begins with House of Earth and Blood: the story of half-Fae and half-human Bryce Quinlan as she seeks revenge in a contemporary fantasy world of magic, danger, and searing romance.
Bryce Quinlan had the perfect life-working hard all day and partying all night-until a demon murdered her closest friends, leaving her bereft, wounded, and alone. When the accused is behind bars but the crimes start up again, Bryce finds herself at the heart of the investigation. She’ll do whatever it takes to avenge their deaths.
Hunt Athalar is a notorious Fallen angel, now enslaved to the Archangels he once attempted to overthrow. His brutal skills and incredible strength have been set to one purpose-to assassinate his boss’s enemies, no questions asked. But with a demon wreaking havoc in the city, he’s offered an irresistible deal: help Bryce find the murderer, and his freedom will be within reach.
As Bryce and Hunt dig deep into Crescent City’s underbelly, they discover a dark power that threatens everything and everyone they hold dear, and they find, in each other, a blazing passion-one that could set them both free, if they’d only let it.
With unforgettable characters, sizzling romance, and captivating suspense, this richly inventive new dramatized audiobook fantasy series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas delves into the heartache of loss, the price of freedom-and the power of love.

Graphic audio is the only way
I am a huge ACOTAR girlie and was so worried I wouldnât like CC. I was told to give CC a try since book 3 has a cross over and rumor has it, it will also dictate book 6 of ACOTAR. I struggle to create images in my head when I listen to audible but this GA is absolutely amazing!!! I can picture everything while doing whatever I need to do. If you plan on reading this book and also listening please please PLEASE do graphic audio

I thought I loved ACoTaR until I read CC…
The vivid imagery and different world building is amazing. Tbh it took me several chapters to get into it but the dramatized audiobook helped while reading along. Then it got good and I couldn’t put it down. I have never gasped, laughed, cried and felt a book so deeply. Amazing ð¤©ð¤©ð¤©

No GA, and different voices.
The book is amazing no doubt! As far as the new voices and GA were horrible. Remember these are audiobooks not TV! All the voice changes throw me off but the books are some of the top Audiobooks. Youâre supposed to imagine what the narrator is describing so you can fall into the story! If the new books use GA and changing narrators Iâm afraid my book clue will not buy them! I really hope thatâs not the case because youâre an amazing writer! If I wanted sound affects I would watch Netflix!Respectfully,Adriana

Graphic Audio and Maas never miss
Loved it very excited for part two. Absolutely love the cresent city series. Graphic audio never disappoints and they are worth they extra to have the full voice cast. It’s very clearly marked that this part one of two- meaning the book is split into two parts- very clear. Most Graphic audio books especially Maas books are done this way, her books are long and it takes a long ot time and effort to record and edit such long works, therfore it makes sense that it’s realesed in parts. It also follows its more expensive as the voice actors all need to be paid- if you don’t want to pay for the quality acting and production then you can get it all in one part with one narrator at a cheaper price. I personally love Graphic Audio and get so excited every time I see them releasing new books I love and im overjoyed they are doing Maas entire collection of work. Great writing and great voice acting. ð

Not what I imagined.
Bryce and Hunts voices are just not it for me. I loved the ACOTAR graphic audio and was pumped for this one. But Hunt sounds like Ron Swanson off Parks and Rec and Bryce sounds like sheâs about 30 years too old for the character with a frog in her throat ðµâð«

Only 1/2 of the book!
What the heck? The entire second half of the book is missing. It canât be because of the length of the bookâother, even longer books have shown no such problem: the Wolf Hall series, Ship of Magic series, etc. Who wants to be cut off in the middle? Poorly marketed!
