Easy to install and get connecting and working
The lock is awesome. It was so easy to install and has been working flawlessly. I purchased the yolink hub and gate sensor first and wanted to try one of these too. The yolink hub was so easy to get connected since it is wired no fussing with wifi trying to get it connected I can’t stand other thing like this that use wifi they are never reliable but this is 100% of the time. Adding the lock to my devices could not have been simpler all you do is choose scan code from the app and it adds it instantly. Everything about this was so easy I’m glad I found yolink.

Works great.
This was an easier install than I expected. That I was replacing an existent deadbolt made it easier. Was able to use the existing striker plate and existing sliding deadbolt, as they were compatible, making the install even nicer. Figured out the correct position for the Left-Right handed toggle, and correct horizontal/vertical position for the turning control rod. Did this by activating unit before final assembly to door. Watching the travel positions (where the rod connects), it made it easy to determine if I had it right. Just take you time at this step and you’ll figure it out. Unit paired to Yolink system flawlessly. Changed the local numerical password following instructions – no problem. In Yolink app, added User Numerical Password, also real simple. Love it has Key option, keypad option, and phone app option for locking and unlocking. Set up automations in app to notify me on phone when door is unlocked or locked, as well as verbalize it on the speaker hub. I have other Yolink home modules, so automations are easy now. If new to automations, their training videos are a good start. Very Happy with Purchase.

Awsome smart lock!
This lock works awesome! The Yolink app has a lot of flexibility and options to use with this lock also. I can check to see if the door is locked and lock or unlock it anywhere I have internet connection. I also have it scheduled to lock every night at 10pm and again at midnight in case we forget to lock it or if someone unlocks it for some reason and doesn’t lock it back.

Not compatible with a KW1 keyway
The deadbolt itself works fine and paired right up with my Yolink (as usual). However, the keyway does NOT appear to be a mainstream Kwikset keyway. I have a Kwikset 620 on another door, which allows fast re-keying to any existing KW1 key. I had planned to key the two alike using this feature. However, the key from the Yolink could not fit into the Kwikset, or vice versa.

Super Reliable and Fantastic Range
Well, I’ve been a customer of Schlage locks for years. So I needed a new smart lock and went to Schlage. Wow, I didn’t realize that Schlage was made out of gold. They sure have went up in priced.I thought to myself, I should take a look at Yolink. I currently have over 50 Yolink devices for various things like water sensors, water shutoff valves, plugs, temp & humidity sensors, gate sensors, etc. So I figured I’d check out their lock since all of their devices work so fantasticly. Well, Yolink had once for half the price of Schlage. And better yet, the range is awesome which is a must have for the door I was putting this lock on.After getting this lock installed which was pretty simple and straightforward, I was pleased with the way it looked, and really pleased with how it worked. I’m a dyed in the wool supported of Yolink because their devices never quit working and they work very well with Alexa.Frankly, I tell everyone I know who wants to purchase smart home devices to check out Yolink. If you purchase Yolink devices, you’ll be glad you did.

Really well integrated with Alexa
Bought a house with 5 doors to the outside on multiple levels. Got 5 of these locks and integrated them into Alexa. Now I just say “Alexa, lock up the house” and it does. I also have this routine go off on its own each night just to make sure everything is locked up tight. Any changes in the YoLink app are immediately visible in the Alexa app – best integration of any devices I own.

Two locks bought one failed within 3 months
The locking mechanism fails to engage the dead bolt to the lock position (even with the door open), unlocking is fine.

Being an owner of several YoLink products, I was looking forward to adding the YoLink Deadbolt smart lock to my home automation. Installation was quick and easy, it took about 20 minutes to remove the old deadbolt lock and install the YoLink smart lock.The smart lock synced easily to the YoLink app and configuring the smart lock security code was a breeze. I like the different options for programming the security code.I highly recommend YoLink Smart Deadbolt lock(s) as an addition to your smart home. I definitely will be purchasing an addition smart deadbolt lock for my home.
