Great tool kit for paint care
Great set of tools. Fits any standard drill. Polishes well, although I’ve only had to use the yellow one to get where I like it along with some medium – fine cut. Polished a truck bed side in no time.

Good for simply washing the car too
I canât wash my cars by hand because of terrible tennis elbow. I ran my truck through the car wash and much to my disappointment, the black goo? Mold? Old pollen? Layer that had attached itself to the white paint did not even budge!I used the orange sponge with a little soapy water and it took the black layer of sludge right off!The sponge is still pretty solid and I bet I can do a few more washes before having to replace it. Plus the other included sponges should do the same thing. Definitely worth the money and my kids had fun using it too! Follow me for more parenting hacks!!

Drills itself right off
These are nice pads. Soft enough for buffing but firm enough for hardened polishing. Would easily rate them 5 stars except for one major and potentially fatal flaw. When these are attached to the drill if you are not actively pressing them against a surface and you stop the drill they un-screw from the chuck mount. Tried drilling forwards and backwards with the same result. Tried wrenching them on tight to an avail. LMAO when it first happened.

I needed to fix damage to a motorcycle tank and this product was amazing. I was a paint Quality engineering tech for a motorcycle company and needed to do some paint repairs to our personal motorcycle. After sanding, this product helped me buff the paint back to pristine condition. The options for pads was perfect for the process. The pads are durable and the quality is top notch. I was even able to buff a scratch out of my car too! Great price point for this product!

Microfiber fitting issues
I started working on my car a few months ago and started repainting it. Intried manual buffers and polisher pads but I guess I was using them wrong. I bought these and used them for the first time this past weekend. Overall they work great and the box shows you which ones to use for each step of the waxing/polishing phase. My main issue is that the microfiber buffer pads don’t really fit over the base. If you try to put them over a oad, it doesnt fit well and if you try to use it over the velcro that the pads srick to, it just gets stuck.

Highly recommend this kit.
I’m pretty impressed the procedure worked really well just follow the side of the box where it explains what each color means and gives you step by step instructions. I highly recommend this kit. The only thing I would recommend is it’s not a big deal but if you do have locking glue when you screw the drill bit into the velcro piece I would put some locking glue in there so I could keep it nice and tight again you don’t have to just say minor suggestion. Also make sure you tighten the bolts really well onto the velcro piece.

Excellent kit for light paint repairs.
This is the first polishing I’ve done aside from hand-rubbing paint. I was very worried about burning or otherwise damaging the paint with high-speed wheels. Dark paint shows every swirl and defect!. As a test I decided to remove the license plate, simulate some damage, and buff there before moving to areas that will be visible.Image 1 >> Removed the license plate and wet sanded 3 patches (L-R, 1000g 2000g 3000g)Image 2 >> Buffed with coarsest (orange) pad using Meguiars Ultimate compound at low speed with drill (500rpm?), light pressure, for about 15 seconds. Wiped clean. 3000 grit sanding was almost completely removed. 1000 & 2000 were still visible. Even the coarsest pad left no additional marks in the surface.Image 3 >> sanded 1000 & 2000 area again progressively to achieve uniform surface (2000 > 3000 and 1000 > 2000 > 3000)Image 4 >> After second round of buffing with Meguiars Ultimate & Orange pad, damage was nearly invisible. Same approx time and speed as first application.Image 5 >> Switching to Black (finest) pad. This is how I dabbed polish on area before buffing.Image 6 >> Only the finest of scratches remain. I did learn to be VERY careful around edges as there was a slight burn of the paint at the bottom corner of the panel. I’ll probably avoid all but the lightest polishing over panel edges.I didn’t get a great picture of the perfect final result. The last bit of polishing was done with compound on the bonnet, then a pass of compound by hand, a pass with Mothers Sealer & Glaze, and a pass of Mothers Carnuba wax to finish.Image 7 >> The scratch in the photo higher on the bumper and some other scuffs were removed completely using one pass with compound on the black pad and a final buff with the bonnet.Image 8 >> I cut a bit of thin foam from my scrap drawer to use under the bonnet when polishing. The wheel felt too hard by itself for delicate work.The pads washed easily after done for the next use. Only time will tell how long they hold up but I have no reason to think I won’t get several years worth of light duty use out of the whole set. Aside from the foam fix referenced in image 8, my only complaint with the set is it would be nice for the wheels to have a hex bit attachment so I could use with my cordless impact wrench as well as my drill and switch out pads quicker. These little nits aren’t worth deducting a star for. Hope all this helps someone else who is thinking about the set.UPDATE: Numbered the images because the order they imported in was all over the place.
