Customers say
Customers report that the pet hammock is too small for Cadillac CTS and too narrow for truck seats, with the material being thin and not typical Carhartt duck fabric. The product receives mixed feedback about its quality, durability, and sturdiness – while some find it durable, others report it’s not durable, and while some say it stays in place, others mention the straps coming loose.

Perfect-ish
Fits my Jeep Gladiator pretty good. Material is thin but holds up to our 40+ pound dog. Easy to clean. Easy to set up.Zippers could be double pull as you have to reach inside to pull the zipper when standing at the door. Measurements are off. Advertised as 53.5â wide at base, but is clearly a couple inches shy. And as with all brands of these, the corners are not supported so they just fold and flop around.Small to midsized vehicles will like this thing. I think it would be more like 3/4 seat coverage in a full sized truck or SUV though. After reading reviews on here I kept the packaging anticipating returning it. Was pleased that it fit my Jeep though.

Highly recommend this cover
This cover fits my 2021 Toyota Tacoma (double cab) jut about perfectly. I’ve used it consistently for the past 3 months and it has held up well. As others have noted, the material isn’t as thick as a Carhartt duck jacket but that isn’t a con as far as I’m concerned. The material is plenty thick and durable, especially for a seat cover. I wouldn’t be interested in shelling out more money for an even thicker material anyway. I love my dog, but not that much.A few things worth noting:* There are seat anchors that help keep the cover in place. They work well and are easy to jam between the seats & remove as needed.* There is a zipper that runs along the material between the two front seats. I’ve never had a reason to unzip it and it has generally stayed zipped despite my dog tromping around the backseat.* The material is easy to vacuum (I use a handheld vacuum with a spinning brush attachment).* With the cover in place, the area around the floorboards in the backseat is more obscured. This creates a nice place to stash stuff that is semi-out of sight.I highly recommend this cover. With that said, because it is “one size fits all” there is no guarantee that it fits your make and model of vehicle. I got lucky that it fits Tacomas (at least the double cab models) very well.

Great!
Fits My 22 Tacoma Perfectly! Wish the sides were a little bit taller , but still helps protect door panels . My Boy Loves it

Unimpressed
The nylon material has a plastic laminate backing that is intended to prevent fluid seeping through to the underlying seat. If you ever expect to wash this protector then you can also expect that the plastic backing will DELAMINATE and flake away. The delaminating accelerates with additional washing. It fits my Honda CR-V back seat POORLY. If the straps are tightened the protector wonât stay centered becoming bunched up on one side or the other, and if I center the protector then the straps are too loose. The strap buckles are unnecessarily heavy metal female and a plastic male part that clicks in place. Hiking/outdoor equipment uses the same snap-together connector so I donât think the heavy metal half is necessary or useful. The material is quite thin and in total the protector is a few pieces of inexpensive nylon stitched together. ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY NOT WORTH $120! Iâm sending it back

Tough, but runs small.
The material is not typical Carhartt. Itâs very thin but still feels durable. The zipper and buckles are beefy, which i was looking for as they typically break first. I have a 2010 Camry and it barely fits. Iâm going to keep it but if you have a truck or a larger vehicle it will most definitely be too small.

Gotta Say DURABLE
We’ve gone through a few of these with our very roudy weimeraner. Ultimately, the zippers rip away from the fabric, the straps rip out, or the side seams fail. . . BUT! we’ve had this one longer than any other, and so far no rips, tears or such. It does seem a bit thinner than most others, but it is a canvas material, so despite the weight of the fabric, it;s tough and does the job! The sides are meant to be able to zip up like a box for the dog, but we just flap them over the ends of the seat. . . . WHEN this one fails — and maybe it won’t!! — we’d get another!

Not normal Carhartt duckcloth quality
I bought this confidently because of the name and how familiar I am with the brand. When one thinks of Carhartt they think durable, quality, etcUpon receiving I immediately realized it was not the durable carhartt duckcloth material I expected. It was thin, very thin. I can’t think of how to describe the fabric except maybe a type of nylon. Has the appearance as far as color of their normal product but not the quality. It was easy to install as it fastens on all the headrests in my truck. It creates like a little safety bucket for them. It’s stable as far as keeping them inside but slippery so I had to get a blanket to put down over it so they wouldn’t slide around.Overall the appearance was and is a turn off. Its lacking from the normal versatile products they make built for performance.

It’s a Carhartt product..
I’ve had a dog hammock style seat protector before. The one I had was not durable. The stitching was terrible. The thing would flap around when I’d have the back windows open.I have a 2013 Mazda CX5. I have 5 dogs (Rottweiler, Rott/Lab mix, Pitbull Terrier, Yorkie mix, and Cairn Terrier mix)I finally decided to purchase the Carhartt version. I very happy with the decision. Things I love:1) The water repellent CORDURA canvas material. Seems very durable. Plus, it does repel fluids. My new Rottweiler decided she couldn’t hold her bladder while we were on a drive. Found out what she had done once we got home.2) Stitching seems like it will hold up to the abuse it will receive.3) Metal clasps on the straps that go around the headrests.4) hard foam seat wedges. Helps keep the hammock from moving around.5) sturdy zippers..Something that they had done better or offered.Different color choices. Black, Grey, or a version of green.I would recommend this product…

Highly recommend! My dogs love it

The product fit my SUV perfectly. The side covers were not used so folded under nicely. Does a good job of protecting my leather back seat.

This unfortunately is not universal at all, I have a med size truck, and this does not fit the back at all. There is no grip on the bottom of the hammock, so it slides around. The “anchors” for it are too loose, so they can’t hold anything in place. If you try to tighten the straps, it causes the middle to bow or the sides to expose the seats, so can’t protect the seats. I have trusted all Carhartt items with blind faith for years, but this experience makes me hesitant for future products.

This sling is better than most you can find online. I have a Great Dane so finding something to hold up to his weight is challenging. I have tried and gone through at least four other brands. The straps always seem to rip. The straps on this have not broken, but unfortunately the securement pieces that hold it down on the seats always pop out. Other brands have plastic bars for this function that work a lot better to stay in place. The zipper broke as well. Iâm only rating 2 stars for this reason. No zipper option would be nice.
