Helps remove license plates without drilling.
I use these almost every day at work to remove old crusty license plate bolts. The number 2 is great to hammer in to get them out works very well and has a good build quality. I just wish that there was a number 3 avaliable

WORKS GREAT ON HONDA BRAKE ROTORS!
I AM A HONDA TECH AND I LOVE THIS SCREW DRIVER! 2-3 hits with my hammer and the brake rotor screw are loose! well worth the money!

Innovative and well-made
Sometimes nothing is better than having the perfect tool for the job. These screw extractors are solid and will take a good hit of the hammer without inflicting any damage to the extractor. Reasonable price and innovative internal spring mechanism make them worth a first try. Lighter and much easier to use than traditional impact extractors. If you can’t get stubborn screws out with this, then you were probably in for the task of drilling it out anyway.

For tough screws
These are specialty screwdrivers for loosening extra tough screws. You can use them like regular drivers, but they are special in that if you hit the end of the handle with a hammer, the blade will ‘twist’ in the handle ever so slightly, in the direction to loosen (right hand threaded) screws. The idea is an excellent one, in that the force of the hammer will both press the bit deeper into the screw, so it doesn’t slip, while at the same time twisting/turning a little to break it loose. It works well, but the tips of the bits are polished, and when used as a regular screwdriver are more prone to slipping than bits that are textured or roughened a bit. In my opinion, if they were textured, they would be less likely to slip when used with a hammer, as well. 4 stars because they are good quality and a very good value, would be 5 stars if the tips were textured.

Increases the likelihood of stuck screw removal without power tools
These won’t get out every stuck screw, but you’ll get out a lot more with this tool before resorting to power tools then if you were relying on a standard screwdriver alone. I love these, think that people are forgetting that they exist! Similar to the impact ratchets. I’m not talking about electric impact, I’m talking about old school mechanical hit it with a hammer style. These tools work

Great Product
The quality is top notch.

There is nothing wrong with this screwdriver. The reason I say donât buy this is because it is a better deal to buy the package with 2 screwdrivers in it. Only a little more money and you get this one and a flat blade screwdriver of the same type.

I’m an apprentice mechanic. I bought these beacuse I wasn’t ready to spend the $200+ for the snap on impact screwdriver. I use the Phillips on brake rotor set screws with about 50% success rate. When it doesn’t work, I go borrow my bosses snap on impact and break it free with one lazy tap. Can’t say I’m surprised, given the price difference. 3 stars cause it’s cheap and better than nothing, but shouldn’t be the only impact you have
